[From the Free Gaza Movement]

Dear Friends,

We have unconfirmed reports from al-Jazeera and via text message that Israeli Naval Forces have stopped and boarded the Spirit of Humanity on its way to Gaza. We're not sure if our folks are being arrested yet or not.

Irish Citizens Mairead Corrigan Maguire (Nobel Laureate) and Derek Graham (First Mate, FGM, IPSC) are on board, as is former US Congressperson Cynthia McKinney.

CONNOLLY YOUTH MOVEMENT CONDEMN COUP IN HONDURAS

The Connolly Youth Movement condemns in the strongest possible terms the military coup that has taken place in the Republic of Honduras. The kidnapping and exiling from the country of, the democratic and rightful President, Manuel Zelaya, is an outrageous affront to democracy and stinks of Yankee involvement. The Connolly Youth Movement calls for President Zelaya to be returned to power in Honduras and for those traitors in the military, who moved against him, to stand down. The CYM echoes the words spoken by the Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla in denouncing “the criminal and brutal character of this coup d’etat.” read full story / add a comment
