The conference was organised by One Law for All and the International Committee against Stoning, Iran Solidarity, and Equal Rights Now. The annual Good Friday walk went ahead yesterday despite the heavy rain. About 83 people walked the length of Shell's 9km proposed raw gas pipeline. The walk is a symbolic act to push Shell out of this beautiful area. read full story / add a comment

A Donegal man Daniel Doherty of Moville was incarcerated at Castlerea Prison for over 60 days. The reason for this incarceration was that he would not withdraw allegations he has made against the State in a case that is listed in the Supreme Court to be heard. read full story / add a comment

The event, held at Giuseppe Conlon House in Harringay, north London, kicked off at 2pm with information stalls and refreshments, space and time to network with others and music from the Bow Creek Ramblers Old Time String Band. People were also invited to sign a card from the gathering or write an individual letter of solidarity and support to Bradley Manning. A.C.C.A.I. have been holding protests at the Pro-Cathedral since the 'Footwashing' stunt by the catholic church as a PR stunt in trying to bring an end to their involvement in the decades of abuse they carried out on children.
