Meet at GPO, O'Connell Street 12 noon daily, except for this Friday 24th, which will be 4.30.pm. PEOPLE The International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank are expected to be in Ireland from around July 4th until July 15th. It is expected on July 15th, the IMF/WB vultures will be flying over us as they leave Ireland and again will be salivating and sneering at us on their way back to their ill gotten gains. Calling for a referendum and marching after the vultures have flown is pointless. Ask for permission to vote on something we never consented to in the first place? Deals done with the bloodsucking ECB/IMF/WB vampires by the corrupt, inept Fianna Fáil gangsters. Fine Gael/Labour wereelected on the false premise that they would take on the banks and senior bondholders. read full story / add a comment ![]()

Ireland’s Euro-fanatics and ultra-Europhiles are getting panicky. As the European Central Bank turns us all into indentured debt peons for a generation and France and Germany plan assaults on our 12.5% company tax rate, they fear that Ireland’s long love-affair with the EU may be coming to an end. Hence the ceremony of rededication planned for the Dáil this Monday, “Europe Day”, 9 May. It is meant as an opportunity for the political leaders of the Euro-faithful to renew their vows. read full story / add a comment ![]()

Gerry Adams made a big contribution to politics with his statement on the EU and IMF and has shown the way out of the mess that the political establishment and their EU and IMF overlords have saddled the Irish People with for the next 20 to 50 years. As well as defaulting we need to free ourselves from the IMF shackles and to leave the EU as soon as we can. read full story / add a comment

Former Irish Foreign Minister Dermot Ahern suggested that "cover" for any US torture taxis that "surfaced" would be provided through random inspections at Shannon, a new confidential cable on the Wikileaks site reveals.Ahern said that he "could use a little more information" about US flights in 2007, “musing that it might not be a bad idea to allow the random inspection of a few planes to proceed, which would provide cover if a rendition flight ever surfaced”, stated former US ambassador to Ireland Thomas Foley.

Politics in this country has been made muddy by decades of civil war divisions, clientilism and corruption. As a result the political discourse required for significant social change is constricted. Now is an opportunity to change the Irish political landscape forever, for all progressive groups to demand that FF disband. Here are my Top 10 reasons. I'm sure there are more. read full story / add a comment
