Serious Reporters discussed with alacrity the 'ins' and 'outs' of the case. This is because RTE are consumer driven shite and incapable of Opinion and analysis. -They like to give the public what it wants- This kind of mentality drives US Consumer TV where Newsreaders burn reports on Paris Hilton. One of the most controversial inquiries of the Troubles, involving claims that police officers in Northern Ireland secretly adopted a "shoot to kill" policy, has been reopened, the Guardian has learned. The allegations that republican terrorist suspects were deliberately killed rather than being arrested led to an investigation by John Stalker, then deputy chief constable of Manchester, in the mid 1980s. Finglas Village Regeneration Plan Monday night there was a meeting in the Shamrock Public House for tenants and leaseholders in Finglas Village. The meeting was chaired by the Finglas Cabra Partnership. On the platform were Minister Pat Carey, Ken Hand Dublin City Council, and a representative from the Finglas Traders Association, the organizers of the meeting. Also in attendance were local politicians Cllr. Dessie Ellis, Cllr. Mary Murphy, Cllr. Liam Kelly and Cllr. Bill Tormey.
