By Florence Jaugey (2005, 30 min.) Documentary and debate with LASC and Choice Ireland. This event has since been postponed until early October
A 9 year-old Nicaraguan girl living in Costa Rica was sexually abused in 2003 and, as a result of the attack, got pregnant. This documentary is a testimony of the struggle of her family to get an abortion and the sharp opposition they faced from the Catholic Church, who excommunicated everyone in the family and everyone involved in the case –but the rapist! |
