In a landmark Employment Tribunal ruling, a judge has found that being critical of Islam is a protected belief under the Equality Act. This renders the Government's efforts to ban 'Islamophobia' largely pointless.

Apart from the fact that you have a comedian appearing, you seem very vague on what you've got planned, or why you're doing this?

And don't think you can just stroll through this year cause your involved in some extra -curricular activity.

You people obviously need to either brush up on English grammar - or learn how to use the spelling and grammar checker in Microsoft Word. How about this for ignorance:

"The Union of Secondary Students, the national representative body for the secondary students in Ireland is dismayed to learn that religion classes in some Catholic Schools are allegedly teaching the ‘evils’ of abortion to students and not giving them a fair and impartial view of the subject to students and are actively discouraging opinions contrary to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
This is gross abuse of trust and power placed in the hands of the Catholic Schools and the U.S.S. demands an end to this repugnant practise, which according to students is becoming widespread over the past few years. The U.S.S. would ask the Archbishop of Dublin, Dr. Diarmuid Martin if this is the type of defined and verifiable Catholic ethos” he wished to see in all catholic schools!?"

Also, who "the Board of Directors of USS Ltd. (which currently includes several high profile public figures)"? Sounds like a corporate entity exploiting young people's fears to me...

Let me see, who exploits peoples fears. Hhhhhhhmmmmm. Who perhaps blames immigrants for the failings in our health service, rather than years of bad policies and lack of funding?. Who blames delays in the construction of our roads on heritage protectors rather than dodgy property developers with their Fianna Fail cronies? And who balmed each other after the local elections disaster for them? Thats right the government

the uss has made no attempt to organise amongst school students they are a non-organisation and when i and many others were organising walkouts against the iraq war they were telling the media they were opposed to walkouts in principle! Some "union"
