How many engines did the plane have and were they jet engines or propellors?
Are you sure the helicopter was a sikorsky and not an Air Corps helicopter or ineed one of the garda ones?
With regards to the low flying, military aircraft can fly as low as 500 feet over built up areas.
They were C17s and it was an H-92 Sikorsky
I doubt very much is this is an anti-sam exercise, since C-17s (if they were C-17s) carry extensive countermeasures of their own: e.g., http://www.efluids.com/efluids/gallery/c17flares_1.htm
Now I know your not telling the truth. The Sikorsky h-92 doesn`t exist yet and the first civilian version was only completed a few weeks ago.
Also, I was talking to an Air Corps pilot who said that c-17s cant land at baldonnel as they`re to big for the runway there.
