Jump To Comment: 3 2 1The problem is partially solved. The problem is that a lot of people are now disenfranchised about the polls after the Gardai initially rejected their ids. The government should now encourage immigrants by way of public campaigns and press releases to go back to the Gardai stations, get registered and execise their civic rights on June 11.

This is good news. I think that there should be a puch on to give everyone a vote, regardless of their nationality. If someone lives in Ireland why not give them a vote in all elections. Did you know that only Irish and UK citizens can vote in Dáil elections, only Irish citizens can vote in Referenda and Presidential votes, and non-EU citizens can't vote in European elections.
