Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza
China?s CITY WIDE CASH SEIZURES Begin ? ATMs Frozen, Digital Yuan FORCED Overnight Wed Jul 30, 2025 21:40 | 1 of indy
This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty
A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Sadiq Khan?s officials suppressed taxpayer-funded research that showed low traffic neighbourhoods (LTNs) do not reduce car use after the London Mayor spent five years baselessly claiming LTNs are good for the planet.

We Shouldn?t Welcome Right-Wing Cancel Culture Thu Sep 18, 2025 19:00 | Noah Carl
The Right has spent much of the last decade railing against cancel culture, and was arguably winning the debate. It would be a mistake to abandon that position now.

The DCTU Executive Ctte meet on the first Tuesday of the Month and set the agenda for the delegate meeting on the second Tuesday. The fact that you didnt even know this shows that you are a trollwho knows nothing about the DCTU.
It was great to see that the UCDSU mobilised to defend one of their members. What is the USI going to do when our right to protest is attacked? compared to the USI, the DCTU are revolutionaries!
But has UCDSU sent a motion to them asking for action?
Can you tell us what's on the agenda, especially and specifically relating to the Anti bin tax campaign? And are the DCTU planning to do anything about the bin tax and the jailing of protesters? I know that you have to be careful and not prejudice anything that may be decided next Tuesday night, but at least give us some indication of what's going to happen on Tuesday please pat.
"[UCDSU] Council calls on the USI to organise a city centre demonstration calling for the release of the anti-bin tax protesters" - from the motion passed by a massive majorty by UCD's Class Reps.
It has been democratically passed by the USI's 'grassroots', ie the students and their Class Reps in UCD. I have also heard that UCDSU Officers have made contact with the USI and other SUs. At today's demonstration the President, Paul Dillon, made reference to USI having to act.
Message for Will Priestley: one of your members is in jail! An attack on one is an attack on all- organise action now!
This time last year David Murphy voted No to the referendum in UCD to leave the USI. I wonder if Dave is regretting wasting his time camapigning for a No vote and wasting his money paying for the likes of Will Priestly to live off his Union dues.
I think that Dave Murphy has far more important things on his mind now than your ridiculous comment.
Prob not really, prison is fairly boring!
Can you tell us will the bin tax be raised at the Dublin Council of Trade Unions (DCTU) meeting next Tuesday the 11th?
From what I've heard I think the Amalgamated Transport & General Workers Union (ATGWU) are lobbying for a march and work stoppage at next Tuesday's meeting. Just let us know is it worth having a lobby outside of the DCTU meeting in Liberty Hall next Tuesday? I know that you pat c with your union connections are a regular contributor to Indymedia as are some delegates to the DCTU such as Des Derwin and Paul Kinsella (You're both delegates so spill the beans). Don't move this to another story Indymedia till we've got an answer out of one of the above.
It's not news and indymedia is not a bulletin board, so questions like this belong in the comments. I'm sure pat c will see it anyway, not much escapes him on indy.
Fair enough and you're right very little escapes good old pat c.
There are two Motions on the bin charges on the Agenda for next Tuesday’s meeting (11th at 8.00 p.m.) of the Dublin Council of Trade Unions.
The first is from three unions, SIPTU, the TEEU and IMPACT:
“That the Dublin Council of Trade Unions establishes a forum on the proper financing of Local Authority Services, such as Domestic Refuse Collection, inviting Trade Unions, Political Parties and Community and Voluntary groups to present their analysis and recommend alternatives in the context of:
· promoting a fair and equitable Taxation policy
· recognising the social and economic value of providing these services through direct labour, and
· having regard to the social and economic requirement of effectively removing and disposing of waste safely and in the most environmentally friendly manner possible
with the objective of developing a policy platform and effective campaign strategy within an acceptable timeframe around which Trade Union and Community support can be rallied in the run up to the Local and European Elections in 2004.”
The second is from the ATGWU:
“This union condemns the jailing of a further three bin protestors today, in particular we express our outrage at the jailing of Ms. Brid Smith, an active member of the ATGWU for many years who also was one of our shop stewards. We call upon the ICTU, the Dublin Council of Trade Unions, to condemn all the jailings of anti-bin tax protestors. We will ask the Dublin Council of Trade Unions to organise a protest over these jailings in working time to bring this matter to a head. We also call on the Council to initiate a dialogue with the unions who represent workers in the Corporations and the Councils with a view to persuading them to lift all bins. We call upon the ICTU and the Dublin Council of Trades Unions to send a delegation immediately to the Taoiseach to demand his intervention in this dispute.”
Indymedia readers are well able to judge the merits of each Motion. As the first Motion has the support of three large unions, and delegates will be whipped, it is likely that it will be passed and the second will fall, or be rejected. In addition, the Executive Committee of the DCTU has taken the unusual and controversial step of recommending one of the two Motions (the first) to Tuesday’s meeting.
For the record I opposed the recommendation. Motions from unions usually go straight to the open Council meeting. (The TEEU Motion for the October 11th march was adopted and amended unanimously by the Executive Committee, and went to the open Council as an Executive Motion.) The recommendation was made also without time for Executive members to study both Motions properly.
The Dublin City Anti-Bin Tax Campaign also has a Motion they wish to put before the meeting. The procedures would make it very difficult to get it on the Agenda at this stage.
Due to other meetings I will not be able to attend on Tuesday.
I understand that you may have many meetings, and you are busy. But could you please clarify why the other meeting is more important than this Executive Committee meeting. I am supporting you for your election for Vice Presidency, so I'm not some SWPer having a go at you. There are 6 people in jail, most are Union members- yet the Union leadership are doing nothing.
Des does not have to answer to anonymous questioners on Indymedia. He has the right to prioritise his meetings.
My posting under 'Super Tuesday' towards the end of the original thread (24th October)should explain why I could not attend the DCTU meeting.
25th October, not 24th
