He has had a series of meetings where pressure has been put on unions to accept the changes due to the cash crisis in ICTU HQ but northern unions are not happy at having a gun put to their head.
why dont we put the energies of setting up 'new' unions into reclaiming the current unions. I want to see 'one big union' of te working class, what's the point in setting up IWU?
You surely don't need to be told the point of the IWU. You obviously don't agree with it, and you may be right regarding One Big Union. Or, at least, the need to recapture the unions from the bureaucrats. But please don't belittle the IWU with such an ill-considered remark. Thank you.
