Jump To Comment: 3 2 1Just got more detailed updated figures on ESB price rises.
2001 8.6%
2002 9.85%
2003 5% (proposed)
So that is actually 24% in the past 3 years.
The rate of inflation at present is 2.9%.
We were working with the most accuarate figures we had early last week. Then better ones come along .....grrrrrr!
some of the fares were raised by more than 9 %, that part of it was reversed.
anyway, the posters looked good on the march. nice use of red & black.
Just a point of information; the bus fares increase was reversed.
