maybe if they are lucky, the recomendations of the prisons inspector have been carried out and he'll get clean socks & underwear at least twice a week (yes i know its twice more a week than i do)

these days the grub in prisons is usually better than that. but if you are held overnight in the bridewell or other local lock ups,you can delight in beans, "steak" & kidney pie and chips.

(Copied & Pasted from "Anti-Bin Charges"):-

Protests to Fingal Council

the more people who ring, email, or write in, the better. Please deluge these offices. It may seem like a small thing, but the more they see the popular oppositon to these actions the better.

On another - but related point - NOT ONE ANSBACHER person ahs been jailed. But then the law is blind, yeah.

We should call for their release and the end of the charges against them. State your union/political positions, etc. DEMAND A REPLY.
If not is forthcoming, get back to them asap.

The Court certainly did the Government's and the Council's dirty work today: As well as the jailings, an order was given allowing the guards to wade in and arrest on the spot anybody involved in the community protests in Fingal. The severe sentence is obviously meant as a warning to residents involved in the protest- You'll be next.
The judge claimed that Joe and Clare's conduct was a "strike at the heart of the democratic order"!!!
I'm sure Joe and Clare would appreciate cards or messages of support sent to Mountjoy Prison, North Circular Road, Dublin 7.

Ghandi would recommend that hundreds line up in front of a single truck on Monday in the am and overcrowd/shut the courts and jails.
