Donald Trump, a neo-fascist demogog brought to power on a wave of reactionary sentiment is also one of the cabal of white male billionaire oligarchs that have largely ruled that country since its inception as a slave-owning Anglo settler state. The only thing that will bring down this regime is for the rest of us to unite worldwide and economically STARVE this maniacal beast-Boycott Divest & Sanction the U.S. until this regime crumbles from lack of incoming profits to its Wall Street corporate mafia! read full story / add a comment

Garda Maurice McCabe was an honest Garda who was horrified by the way that ‘respected’ and well connected people got their penalty points written off.

When he reported this practice, he was immediately ostracised. Senior officials saw him as a dangerous outsider who was upsetting local networks of privilege. Far from being ground down, Maurice McCabe started to look at other malpractices.

He blew the whistle on how Gardai in the Cavan –Monaghan area deliberately reduced a charge against Gerard McGrath who had viciously assaulted a female taxi driver. read full story / add a comment

Earlier today three people targetted by members of the UK National Public Order Intelligence Units (NPOIU) in Ireland held a press conference. They want to build pressure on the Irish government to open up about the role of British spies in Ireland.

The three, Kate Wilson, Kim Bryan and Jason Kirkpatrick travelled from Spain,Wales and Germany. Kate is one of a number of women who brought cases against the Metropolitan police in London because of being decieved into long term relationships with men who turned out to be undercover officers.

Bus Eireann staff are set to exert their collective rights and strike from the 20th February in an indefinite industrial action in order to secure their pay and conditions. Bord na Mona has been accused of ignoring a recent High Court decision by applying for a horticultural processing facility without assessing the impact on the bogs supplying the peat.

The application is for a horticultural processing facility on a 2.7-hectare site near Naas in County Kildare.

The application to Kildare County Council by Bord na Mona says the project is a joint venture with the Dutch company Legro. ‘Legro are based in Holland and sell potting soils and substrates for the professional and consumer market and is one of largest producers of casing soil for mushroom cultivation with clients all around the world’, according to the application. read full story / add a comment

My book has just been published and given time it will result in the elimination of neoliberalism because I show how it derives from a United Nations 'hidden' collectivist agenda which involves major violations of the Universal Declaration and the UN Charter. I recommend that the West, which has been determined for decline, boycott the UN until it has been removed. Already we are seeing the rise of China, Russia and political Islam and the decline of the European Union. read full story / add a comment

The recent census taken shows an alarming land distribution fact.Almost 50% of Ireland's limited landscape is owned by 10% of the population. The reasons given for this onesided dynamic is farming and food security. This has created a land scarcity which has seen thousands of Irish families without homes or land to feed themselves which was the prime fundamental at the centre of every uprising in Ireland since the 15th century. A new technological innovation in science is set to put an end to land agitation ,extortionate food price hikes and offers the opportunity of food security for all . read full story / add a comment

In a move being hailed as ‘historic’ and a ‘significant win’ Ireland may soon become the world’s first country to fully divest from all fossil fuels.

Yesterday the Government was defeated as the Fossil Fuel Divestment Bill passed the second stage 90 votes to 53.

Friends of the Earth described as “historic” the vote to progress a Bill to pull taxpayer’s money out of fossil fuel companies. read full story / add a comment
