If you do you are labelled an extremist. However this out of control immigration is fully facilitated by the Irish government and the EU and the shady figure behind the Neo Con movement pushing for endless war, wokeism and globalist agenda.

Hands Off the People of Iran has been campaigning for the release of the internationally know Iranian filmmaker, Jafar Panahi, arrested by the Islamic regime on March 1

Over a month since his arrest, Panahi, whose most famous films are the widely acclaimed The circle (winner of the Golden Lion prize at the Vienna film festival in 2000) and Offside, has still not been charged with any crime. Twice offered bail during that time, he has refused out of solidarity with all those incarcerated for their participation in the mass demonstrations against the regime that have shaken Iran since June 2009. read full story / add a comment

Having chatted recently to many other people on the left so as to try and gauge the possibility of the broadest ever coming together of a revolutionary left alliance on this island, it appears that we are going to miss the best opportunity in making the biggest electoral impact by the genuine left in years. Too many parties/groups seem to be carrying too much historical baggage about each other. This party won't work with that party for this reason....that party won't work with anyone for some other reason....that party can't be trusted because of past mistakes....sniping.....backbiting.....nitpicking........petty grudges.....personalities.....sectarianism......our view is the right one......we have more experience.... blah blah blah blah blah.

The Shell manager who accepted the latest load of letters from objectors to the Shell project just last week turns out to be the son of a (former) Labour politician. A politician who always campaigned hard on Corrib, but on behalf of the multi-national, not his constituents.

So it was a bit of a surprise to see Jerry Cowley, wealthy Barrister and GP, and once supposedly a supporter of the Shell to Sea campaign, sign up for Labour yesterday. read full story / add a comment

---Corrib project has been imposed through 'harassment' of the local community---

409 letters have been delivered from members of the community of Kilcommon to Shell's Belmullet offices today Monday. The letter outlines their refusal to meet with representatives of the company while Pat O'Donnell remains in jail and the imposition of the Corrib gas project continues without community consent. The letters detail a large number of grievances that the local community have with the imposition of the project, and state that people are refusing to meet with Shell while what “effectively amounts to ongoing and escalating physical and psychological harassement” continues in the area.

The letters dismiss as hollow Shell's proposed 'consultation', in the context of the fact that the current and previous Managing Directors of the company have publicly stated that the project will not be changed in any way in response to community concerns. read full story / add a comment
