German state media have systematically slandered Charlie Kirk in the wake of his assassination, says Eugyppius. They portray him as an unhinged and dangerous fascist, just stopping short of blaming him for his own death.

Charlie Kirk's murder marks the shift to a post-woke world, says Dr David McGrogan. At least the woke wanted to return to Year Zero and build a 'better world'. The online, Bluesky Left of 2025 just hate conservatives.

Bill Henderson writes about those who deny climate change and he also touchs on some other hot topics.

There are people who deny that climate change is happening, that it is caused by increasing greenhouse gases (GHG) from burning fossil fuels, or that it is potentially so serious as to be civilization even humanity threatening. There are worldview and monetary reasons for such denial, but since 97 percent to 98 percent of the climate researchers most actively publishing in the field support the tenet that combustion of fossil fuels is the source of global climate change their denial costs valuable time now but is ultimately untenable. read full story / add a comment

We, the Greater Ardoyne Residents Collective (G.A.R.C.) appeal to everyone, particularly the youth to refrain from any acts of violence as it will achieve nothing only untold hurt and misery and should not be allowed by our opponents and the media to deflect attention away from the core issue of unwelcome acts of bigotry through our community. We must ensure that our protest is peaceful and dignified. read full story / add a comment

Last Wednesday, July 7th, Elijah Smith was released from Lewes Prison. He had been held since the Israeli bombing of Gaza in January '09. Along with his co-defendants he had been acquitted unanimously of all charges by the jury. This concluded 18 months the EDO 9 spent before the courts for their nonviolent resistance to the bombing of Gaza. read full story / add a comment

dublin / animal rights / press release Thursday July 08, 2010 18:38 by Bernie Wright   image 1 image
AFAR would like to condemn yet again the keeping of wild animals in captivity for entertainment purposes. The 10 year old Penguin stolen from the Zoo and dumped in the City centre is yet another example of the dangers posed to wild animals by Zoos. Zoos are a remnant of bygone days and merely a continuation of the outdated Victorian menageries of the past. They serve no purpose other than that of commercial gain.

Yet another report has cleared scientists at the University of East Anglia’s (UEA) Climatic Research Unit (CRU) of dishonesty in the presentation of data on global warming. However it has stated that: “We do find that there has been a consistent pattern of failing to display the proper degree of openness, both on the part of CRU scientists and on the part of the UEA.”

But the inquiry found that the scientists “honesty and rigour” were “not in doubt” and there was “no evidence” of behaviour that would undermine assessments by the UN’s Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). read full story / add a comment
