Here is a list of imprisoned Iranian Trade Unionists. In Iran Free Trade Unions are illegal and workers who attempt to organise to defend their conditions are imprisoned flogged and murdered. You can take steps to to help these workers as the one thing the Mullahs fear is publicity. Copy the list into an email and send it to the Iranian Embassy demanding that these workers be released and their safety guaranteed. The Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) will be hosting a press conference at 3pm tomorrow, Monday 7th June, in the Central Hotel with the five Irish prisoners from the MV Rachel Corrie. The Rachel Corrie was hijacked at sea yesterday by Israeli forces, and all her passengers are due to be deported from Israel tomorrow morning, and the Irish deportees are due to arrive in Dublin airport at 11.20am tomorrow morning. There will be a welcoming committee to meet them and press conference to follow at 3pm in The Central Hotel, Exchequer Street, Dublin 2. Young republicans from across County Tyrone outraged by today's murderous piracy by Israel have organised a number of actions over the coming week to protest and highlight local anger over these brutal abuses of human rights. So far 19 deaths and dozens of injured have been claimed when Israeli soldiers boarded a ship and opened fire on civilian humanitarian workers who were bringing much needed aid to the stricken and besieged Palestinian people living in Gaza. Actions will include graffiti, murals, protests and vigils. A protest is organised by South Tyrone Ógra at the Ballygawley Round at 5pm today, Strabane Ógra and Coalisland/Clonoe Ógra will each be organizing protests respectively and West Tyrone Ógra having already adorned the now vacant Omagh Brit Camp with graffiti and are erecting a mural. read full story / add a comment ![]()

The Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Campaign (IPSC) wishes to express its solidarity with the 'Freedom Flotilla', consisting of nine ships, that is currently assembling in the Mediterranean Sea prior to attempting to break the Israeli blockade of Gaza in the final week of May. Among the ships heading towards Gaza is the 1,200 tonne Irish cargo ship, the MV Rachel Corrie, which is owned by the Free Gaza Movement.
