REGRET have managed through Dail questioning to get the actual figures on the adverse affects of the HPV vaccines and the results have been shocking. This is despite the government deriding the REGRET campaign and Minister Harris along with the HSE continuously push a message of total safety for the HPV vaccine, dismissing families of healthy girls who became seriously ill after the vaccination in our calls for an investigation – in a campaign of public derision. We trusted the authorities who told us it was a safe vaccine, and they abandoned us when what happened to our children didn't fit their message. read full story / add a comment

The Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP), on Monday (May 4, 2020), alleged that it has intercepted a human intelligence report that the Nigeria House of Representatives leadership was poised to forcefully pass the compulsory vaccine bill without subjecting it to the traditions of legislative proceedings.

In a statement issued and signed by the spokesperson of the opposition political parties, Barrister Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere and sent to DAILY POST in Abuja on Monday, the body urged lawmakers in the lower chamber to rise against impunity. read full story / add a comment

This page will contain updates and tips on how to stay health and any known measures to boost the immune system and help prevent getting ill from Covid if you are in he vulnerable group. The key advice though is to boost your immune system by taking Vitamin C and Zinc. Vitamin D which can be generated by your body's skin in sunshine is also very good and is well known to protect. Getting outdoors into fresh air and walking, hiking or swimming are all also excellent ways to improve your immunity. Eating good nutritious food rather than junk food is another important component of boosting your immune system. read full story / add a comment

For weeks, talking heads have been promoting the liability-free vaccine(s) that will save the world—so Bill Gates and Tony Fauci proclaim—from what Gates has now dubbed “Pandemic I.” As Microsoft News peddles self-congratulatory stories about the Gates Foundation’s reorientation of its priorities to devote “‘total attention’ to the pandemic,” Fauci—making the rounds of talk shows—pledges that a vaccine will make its debut in January 2021. Not to be outdone, the White House has now unveiled “Operation Warp Speed”—a joint pharmaceutical-government-military effort aimed at “substantially shrinking the development time for a vaccine”—and President Trump promises one by the end of the year. read full story / add a comment

In an appeal to the European Union, more than 180 scientists and doctors from 36 countries warn about the danger of 5G, which will lead to a massive increase in involuntary exposure to electromagnetic radiation. The Covid-19 global health crisis is one that required a global response led by health workers but with the consensus of almost everyone. Instead we face a piecemeal response, often in the form of repressive policing solutions that are not even particularly effective and where the borders between the states have undermined collective action and allowed the virus to multiply in the gaps.

Fear has led many to wish for harder state clampdowns as if a policing apparatus had any hope for substituting for collective solidarity between neighbours. The very ideology of neoliberal capitalism and its mantra of everyone looking after themselves has cut into the sort of community solidarity essential to popular enforcement of physical distancing. Thankfully in Ireland we discovered this process was not complete and a sufficient sense of solidarity remained that almost everyone implemented physical distancing measures before the state backed that process. read full story / add a comment

Government offer spurious reasons for blocking Medicinal Cannabis Bill

Gino Kenny TD says: “I put forward solutions over three years ago and they completely ignored them”

People Before Profit TD Gino Kenny said he received a letter today from the Minister for Health, Simon Harris, outlining the reasons why the Dublin Mid-West TD’s Cannabis for Medicinal Use Regulation Bill 2016 failed to progress further in the legislative process.

The letter contained a ‘reasoned response’ to Deputy Kenny’s Bill, which sought to provide for GPs to prescribe medicinal cannabis for people with a wide range of illnesses. read full story / add a comment

Dear Friends

A general meeting of IMPERO will take place on Saturday 12 October 2019 at 14:00. Fr. Stephen Duffy PP, Lordship and Ravensdale, has kindly given permission to use the meeting room in our Lady of The Wayside Church, Jenkinstown, Co. Louth, for our meeting. We will meet there.

Agenda

1. Read minutes of the previous meeting
2. Confirm officer board for 2019/2020
3. Sean Crudden will read his thread on the UNDP (United Nations' Development Program) Global Development Hub. The recent on-line consultation was around the question of digitalisation and the sustainable development goals of the UN
4. Equality
5. Finances
6. Fix dates and venues for meetings for the next year
7. Strategy

Due to unavoidable circumstances the meeting scheduled for mid-June was let slide but, hopefully, this will not happen again. The meeting on the 12th is important for IMPERO. It is also taking place at a time of universal change. Is there any way technology can be turned to the advantage of the mental patient?

The meeting is open to everyone. But, if you are coming to the meeting, let us know beforehand so that we can make proper provision for all those attending.

Yours faithfully

Seán Crudden

“There has been a clear spike in mumps amongst teenagers born in the period when bogus research linking MMR to autism was published , Cllr Ryan said.

Cllr Ryan's call came after nearly 400 cases were reported this year – including 64 last week.

Pharmaceutical companies paid out 6.6 million euros to doctors last year. These shocking figures emerged from a voluntary disclosure made by the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association, the industry body that represents the drug companies.

The money will influence how doctors prescribe drugs. There is good evidence of a conflict of interest when medical decisions are corrupted by money. read full story / add a comment

On Thursday evening 2nd June 2016 I attended a meeting in St. Augustine’s school in Blackrock where parents expressed outrage at the withdrawal of the Saint John of God Community Services Supports on a phased basis commencing in September 2016. The school was described as a “centre of excellence” for its vocational programme which has had a very positive impact on the lives of many children with special needs in South Dublin, Wicklow and surrounding areas. read full story / add a comment

Recently a major and moral decision was made to quell California legislature as to whether people suffering with terminal illness should have the right to die with dignity. Democrats did not have enough votes although the legislation might come back later in the year? To the extent that there was much of a debate in the news it has been one-sided with a chorus of status quo preventivists. Religion has once again slammed up common sense and compassion.

Suicide is often thought tragedy or failure—but a person can lead an exceedingly relevant and meaningful life and still have it end with suicide. Suicide, although thought taboo and negative consequence, should not be thought especially conclusive to render some final judgment on that dead person’s attitudes about the entirety of his or her life, or personal series of assumed values while living. Esteemed and valuable lives do happen to end with this form of partial self-control over one’s finality. It can at times be practical to circumstances. The vaunted platitude the “value of human life” (as cultural supposition) has had little real open discussion or debate. Irrespective then of all peoples’ personal opinions (even if personal opinions are not often particularly individualist) one should be able to argue that thee ultimate human right of being-hood (and all related rights of existence) is the right to decide for the self whether one even wants to live a human life (especially as related to circumstances one finds the self). This is really the most basic litmus test to freedom as essential criteria as to whether one is truly free or not. read full story / add a comment

The United Nations' convention on the rights of persons with a disability does not confer any particular right on anyone. As a mental patient I have no more rights with it as I might have without it. However the UNCRPD has a political effect. The Irish Government must repeal the Lunatics Act of the 19th century to make Irish Law consonant with the UNCRPD. That old act is long and detailed and makes elaborate provision to prevent the exploitation of lunatics i.e. mental patients. But, it seems, a new law is required introducing assisted decision making by patients rather than providing an authority to make decisions on our behalf. read full story / add a comment

Despite all the cultural and religious indoctrination (and presumption) to the contrary, to be born Homo sapiens onto this planet, even in these modern times of materialist comfort, is still far too much a curse. Of course no one will tell you you’ve been condemned to a life of questionable worth and meaning, albeit with plenty need to toil for one’s un-mitigating desires. Rather its expected you’ll inculcate the accepted lies, such as how precious life is, in general, as it is always presumed to be—and never question its ordained status or sacred value. Conditioned are you then to think you “should” be grateful for having been born into this human mess (more properly referred to as the insanity of humanity). read full story / add a comment
