How about putting the Election Statement here so we can read it?

author by Heronpublication date Thu Feb 17, 2011 22:41author address author phone Report this post to the editors

I have no idea about what the actual statement consists of, but judging by the February IRP editorial:

http://current-magazines.atholbooks.org/readers/full_ar...land?

"We can think of no better outcome, in the circumstances, than a very strong vote for Sinn Fein."

-the IRPG are going to endorse the Shinners.

Remember when the Irish Political Review was backing Declan Ganley and Libertas two years ago?

Here y'go, an IPR editorial endorses' Ganley's crusade, Jan. 2009:

http://www.atholbooks.org/archives/ipr/review_editorial...9.php

"The European Parliament has been trying desperately to pin a corruption charge on Ganley. But it is obvious that his real offence is that he has not submitted to the EU system of corruption. And that he has the object of making the European Parliament a responsible body, by means of a European party, instead of a gathering of kept men and women."

Personally, I'll probably support the United Left Alliance in this election, as it seems to the be only party that is seriously championing
Irish workers' rights and it isn't in hock to Big Business.
