Mr Netanyahu declared today that construction of further settlements in the Palestinian lands, of the West Bank will continue as of mid-September 2010.

ILLEGAL construction to begin again.

Mr Netanyahu declared today that construction of further settlements in the Palestinian lands, of the West Bank will continue as of mid-September 2010.

Last year Netanyahu, made an agreement with the US to freeze all settlements in the Palestinian lands, however the freeze ends in September and the construction of 3,000 units has already been earmarked by the Israeli government, as was approved by the Knesset only Yesterday.

Waterford IPSC, Strongly condemn this latest decision by the Israeli Government, and sees this latest construction as part of the on-going theft of Palestinian lands and the continuation of the Ethnic cleansing of the Palestinian people by the government of Israel.

In view of this latest development, Waterford IPSC intends to step up their actions for the boycott of ALL Israeli goods being sold in Waterford.
On Friday and Saturday 9th and 10th of July ’10, Waterford IPSC will be in Waterford city, seeking signatures from the general public for our petition calling on several of the large chain stores in the city and county, to STOP selling Israeli goods, which are often grown or manufactured on stolen Palestinian land.
