CRIMINAL ELEMENTS ???????? You mean over where you are CRIMINALS get all hot and bothered over politics? How strange. Over here the folks we call "criminal elements" are usually looking out for the main chance, stick to things of direct benefit to themselves, only get involved in "politics" if one faction competing for power threatens to invest more effort in "anti-criminal" efforts than another party, etc.
PLEASE -- do NOT misinterpret this criticism. I am NOT saying that for the partisans of one political faction to physically attack the partisans of another political faction isn't a criminal action (an action contrary to law, etc.). But that does NOT make them "criminal elements" . All I am saying is cut the self delusion. You weren't being attacked by "crimianl elements" but political opponents of the sort willing to play very rough. Important that you recognize the difference.
