IPSC Nakba Week 2010 (8 - 15 May): Remember Past Injustices, Organise to End Current Abuses

Nakba Week events from 8th - 15th May 2010.

To commemorate the 62nd Anniversary of the Palestinian Nakba (the Arabic for 'catastrophe') - which saw the forcible explusion of over 700,000 Palestinians from their homes to faciliate the creation of the Zionist State of Israel in 1948 - the Ireland Palestine Solidarity Campaign(IPSC) will be hosting a series of Nakba Week events from 8th - 15th May 2010. The events include protests, a pamphlet launch, a day of discussion, film and skill-sharing and and a social evening with food and music.

Sat 8th May: Dublin - Rally to Remember the Children of Palestine
Mon 10th May: Dublin - Solidarity Demo with anti-Veolia Motion at DCC
Tue 11th May: Ennis - Protest the Defence Forces possibly buying Israeli bullets
Thur 13th May: Dublin - Launch of IPSC pamphlet *Gaza: A Background to the Conflict
Sat 15th May: Dublin - Palestine Day in Seomra Spraoi: Skill-sharing,discussions, film and social evening
