Up to eighty neo-nazis from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland will this weekend travel across Europe to Tralee in Co Kerry to attend a planned birthday celebration for Czech neo-nazi organiser, David ‘Jiri’ Kalo and this coming Saturday (the 24th). Anti-Fascist Action

International neo-nazi gathering planned for Tralee, Co Kerry.
Up to eighty neo-nazis from the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Poland will this weekend travel across Europe to Tralee in Co Kerry to attend a planned birthday celebration for Czech neo-nazi organiser, David ‘Jiri’ Kalo and this coming Saturday (the 24th).
The celebration is to take the form of a concert of some of the Czech Republic and Slovakia’s top nazi-white power skinhead bands in the function room of a hostel, the White House in Tralee town centre, that Kalo himself has block booked for the weekend for his guests. Anti-fascist sources reveal that the B&B, run by Sean and Bernie Sugrue, will allow the nazis free access to come and go as they please and that no staff are scheduled to work for the duration of their stay.
“Anti-Fascist Action is determined to stop this gathering from taking place in Tralee and we will use all means at our disposal to shut it down at any and all costs. Over the past couple of days in Prague, we have seen dawn raids and court cases take place which very definitely link those involved in the white power music scene with violent racist attacks on ethnic minorities. AFA is resolute in denying a platform for racist and fascist thugs from overseas to organise and rally in this country, just as we refuse to give oxygen to the very small groups of Irish fascists who wish to organise here who would be impressed by this gathering proceeding.
AFA has mobilised anti-fascists from across the country to oppose this event and to give the nazis the welcome that they deserve. AFA calls on the support of the public in Tralee to help us to oppose this event and to keep our streets and towns nazi-free.”

Currently residing in Dublin, Kalo, a native of the Czech Republic, is an active neo-nazi with links to some of the main neo-nazi organisers in Eastern europe.
The bands lined up to play are:
• Conflict 88 (Czech Republic)
• Juden Mord (translation: “Jewish Death”) (Slovakia)
• Death Varan (Slovakia) (with guest Martin Korec, formerly of bands ‘Squad 96’ and ‘Randall Gruppe’, and nazi organiser).

It is of note that the gathering is being viewed by the fascists themselves as a high profile and elite event as some of the bands are “legends” to nazis in their respective countries, have reformed for the occasion and some of the main organisers of the different organisations have come together to attend.
Guests will include members of a number of different organisations including:
• Bohemia Hammerskins (Czech Republic)
• Narodni Odpor (National Resistance)(Czech Republic- banned)
• Blood & Honour Poland (now defunct)
According to information received by Anti-Fascist Action from our anti-fascists comrades in the Czech Republic, David Kalo is in contact with fascists and loyalists in the north of Ireland, and seeks further cooperation with them. On his way to a neo-nazi commemoration of ‘Kristallnacht’ (literally "Crystal night" or Night of Broken Glass: an anti-Jewish pogrom in Nazi Germany and Austria on 9 to 10 November 1938) held in Prague on the 10th of November 2007, Kalo was pictured with a UVF flag at Prague main train station.
