This exhibition is a collaboration of the work of a number of photographers, including former and serving soldiers and anti war activists.

Official Launch: Due to fire and safety issues, until further notice this launch is by invitation only .

'Images of Resistance - Iraq and Beyond: Anti War Photography Exhibition.
UNITE, 55 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1. Monday, 28th September, 6.30pm.

General public viewing times: 25th Sept - 9th Oct. Mon - Fri, 1.15pm - 4.15pm.
.A collaboration of the work of many photographers including serving and former soldiers, this photo documentary's main message is the futility of war. The main purposes of this exhibition is to help raise consciousness and awareness in the public of the opposition to wars, the plight of the people in war torn countries, the real reasons behind wars, the effects of war and also to show the situations soldiers find themselves in.

Serving or former military personnel's photography will form part of the documentary. Many of the images come from war zones including Iraq, Afghanistan and Palestine.

A tour of this exhibition is planned in countries that have any involvement in any wars or the arms industry and also other Irish locations to highlight Shannon Airport being used as a stopover by American military.

To whom it may concern,

Due to unforseen circumstances, the public opening for the anti war exhibition, 'Images of Resistance - Iraq and Beyond', has been DEFERRED from today Friday 25th September until Monday, 28th September, 1.15pm.

The official launch will still proceed on Monday 28th at 6.30pm, UNITE, 55 Middle Abbey Street, Dublin 1.
