A month after the arrival of Scotland's Hate Crime Act and it appears reports of the demise of the Scottish Enlightenment may have been premature, no thanks to the SNP but due to the doughty spirit of the Scots.

Should governments be able to censor online content for the entire world? That's what Australia is claiming the right to do. But do they really think China and Russia should be able to choose what the world sees?

category dublin | animal rights | event notice author Sunday April 12, 2009 19:35author by Laura Broxson - National Animal Rights Associationauthor email naracampaigns at gmail dot comauthor address PO Box 11019, Dublin 2 Report this post to the editors

IT'S TIME TO FIGHT ANIMAL CIRCUSES!

Hi,

We'll be having 2 anti-circus demonstrations on Saturday 18th April.

We'll be protesting both of Duffy's Circus shows, where they are currently staying - on Rock Road, Booterstown, Co. Dublin.

Meet at: Around 12noon, at Tara Street Station, to get the 12.26 Dart to Booterstown.

First Demo: 1pm

Second Demo: 4pm

(there'll be a break in between demos at a nearby pub).

Hope to see you then!

Well done to Laura et al, its un fucking believable that people get "entertainment" out of animal torture, even more so that they bring their kids to witness this. Fortunately it seems the rabble who frequent these places of animal abuse are dwindling in numbers, no doubt they are too busy with their sat tv. Keep up the good work.

Circus Vegas are animal-free at the moment, so there'll be no need to protest them - for now anyway! :-)
