Copy of a letter sent to GW in the White House in a box accompanying a pair of old shoes-in solidarity with the shoe throwing Journalist in baghdad to... 1600 Pensylvania Ave Washington DC.

Dear Mr Bush.
I hope you, your family and your staff enjoy a wonderful and peaceful Christmas Holiday.
I hope 2009 brings to you a concience to recognise the un-imaginable devistation you visited on the Iraqi nation, of which you or one of your staff have shown the slightest hint of remorse

This letter and gift is to remind you of the absolute horror you, your government and your military have exacted on the innocent people of Iraq and Afghanistan.
There are now 1,474, 200 dead innocent victims of your war against the people of Iraq.
There are 1,000,000 innocent widows left behind - so far.
There are 5,000,000 innocent orphaned children- so far .
You declared that..... 'the war in Iraq was all about peace'.
You dropped millions of tonnes of weapons described as 'smart', 'strategic' or 'surgical'.
You dropped several thousand tonnes of Delpeted Uranium weapons - a banned radoiactive metal described by one of your staff as... 'the most poisonus substance on earth', with a half life of 4.5 billion years, ensuring that Iraq will never recover.

Since the Iran Iraq war, you , your Father and other US Presidents have killed burned, destroyed, mutilated, shot, beaten, tortured, bullied, poisoned, bombed, white phosphored, clusterbombed, napalmed and probably worst of all sanctioned in total about 5,000,000 innocent Iraqi citisens.
You sent 4,000 of your own military kids to their early deaths in their naieve belief in you sick ideology. Those who survive you deny any treatment as they are psychologically destroyed.
67% of your returnee soldiers have fathered children with birth defects through testicular cancer from your use of Depleted-Uranium

You did this in the name of Peace, Democracy and the protection of the American People, yet Iraq has never lifted so much as a finger to your beloved USA. You initially blamed Iraq for September 11, though your investigation into this, asks more questions about your administration than any group outside the USA.
You invoke the name of God as justification for your actions to assist you in this genocide, and you enrole your friends Tony Blair and Bertie Aherne.
Tony Blair used an old schoolboys project to justify this massacre of innocence.
Bertie Aherne justified his support of genocide by saying that... 'it would be a hostile act to remove facilities at Shannon Airport'......

These shoes are just a token of the only 'suffering' you had to endure or the only 'missile' you had to duck for cover from.

Obama will continue Bush Policy

The Pentagon announced that Obama has asked thousands of right wing hawks remain on in their positions. Not only is Defense Secretary Robert Gates being kept on but the entire right wing concensus in the Pentagon is also remaining at the behest of Uncle Tom Obama. Obama has also picked a National Security team comprised entirely of pro Israeli right wingers.

Obama is being hailed as the fulfilment of Martin Luther Kings Dream and the turning of a new leaf in US forigen policy.. Nothing could be further from the truth,
-hope springs on futile ground.
People here in Ireland love Clinton and without acknowledging his horrible record , continnue to love him. It is a sad indictment of the human being when we need so much to adore leadership and justify their actions.
Clintons job in office was to destroy Columbia, and destroy any African attempt to gain access to cheap retro-viral drugh treating Aids sufferers to ensure the pharmacutical industry stays obscenely profitable so he bombed the only pharma-retro viral factory in Africa in the Sudan. How many has he killed?. How many could have been saved?? Millions is the running estimate. What was his 'reasons' for the attack??? You guessed it ....W M fucking D. Who is obamas staff ??- nearly all x clintonites, Sanction loving, kid killing neo-con facists
If Anyone thinks Obama is a breadth of fresh air they must have inhaled to much agent orange.
Mabey Obama needs to be sent shoes also along with...
Cowen- minister for forigen affairs when we helped invade Iraq.
Aherne- Taoiseach when we helped invade a sovrigen country and kill anything that moved
Mary O;Rourke- The lovley lovable cuddly sweet oul dear who signed the overflight and landing papers to allow this atrocity to happen.
O'Dea- Minister for Defense, invested up to his nuts in Petrel Resources- 410% profit post invasion.
Harney- minister for trade/ enterprise. Her friends the Mcelvaddy Bros. made millions on re-fuelling the war on Iraq, are now on the board of Knock airport trying to convince toe locals that rendition flights would be great for the local economy..
In fact every one of them that sit in Dail Eireann, Those who support bush/Obama and those who support by remaining silent---which is EVERY ONE OF THEM..

Merry Christmas to them all and their families, I only hope that their day may be tarnished by a reflection of their accomplishments in Iraq and Afghanistan, and the total devistation they ALL helped bring in destroying a nation of 24 million people.....I bet they all condemn Hitler but dont relate this to their actions.

Remember Bush didn't start this war all by himself, so it's not gonna end the day he leaves, and the dead won't come back when Obama takes office (even though some think he is the Messiah).
We shouldn't make any asusmptions about the changeover. There's plenty going on, and still a war in Afghanistan, so keep those shoes going, and let it also be a warning to the next president.

A well writen letter, full of undeniable and inescapable truths. Any appologist for the west's imperial escapades should hang their heads in shame.
Good ridance to Bush. When he doesn't have the assumed mantel of the leader of the world and though unlikely, I hope when he has the spare time to reflect on his actions he does at least one decent thing in his life. That is to end it!!

Thanks for that Paul - we simply get coarsened to the sufferings inflicted on Iraq, & need reminding.
Please keep on with sending shoes, virtual shoes (pictures), etc., to Bush & Biffo, with your comments.
Saddam's only weapons of mass destruction, including poison gas for Halabja, were sold him by UK & US, & there seems to have been a question of unpaid bills on them - the rest were Weapons of Mass Deception.
