On Monday 9th August 1971 Internment without Trial was introduced by the British Government. Between 9th -11th August eleven people were killed in the Ballymurphy area of West Belfast

Preparing for Bloody Sunday

The killings in Ballymurphy where a dry run for Bloody Sunday in Derry five months later. The same murdering thugs of the infamous Para's who murdered the people in Ballymurphy, where shipped from Belfast to Derry on the morning of Bloody Sunday.
