offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

offsite link AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Tara Call Out

Land Dispute

Today the Gardai arrived to remove A Chairde Gael, those that have been occupying the small triangle of land near the Car Park at Tara
The Disputed Land
The Disputed Land

Jp Fay , a member of A Chairde Gael is disputing claims by Gardai that Meath Co Council now own the land and is refusing to move. JP is under siege and calling out for help - laptops, video equipment , eyewitnesses but especially a Solicitor and also an Auctioneer who can download the maps that will prove he is correct about this piece of land.

OPW Maps- Plot Ref 129 2528_2_1 show that the triangle is not part of the National Monument.

Gardai have stated that they will return in 2 hrs with paperwork.

One would imagine that the Gardai should have had the paperwork with them and given notice to evict- isnt that proper procedure? More bullyboy tactics.

As far as I know the proper procedure is for the Gardai to serve 48 hrs notice of eviction- all paperwork signed by a Judge.

15-20 Gardai and 12 Meath County Council workers evicted JP and other A Chairde Gael members this afternoon. Gardai were backed up by a Paddy Wagon and 5 cars. THERE WAS NO PAPERWORK to prove that Meath County Council now own the land NOR was there any notice of eviction making this yet another illegal eviction. When a member of the public protested against this she was told that she would have to take the Garda's word for it or complain to the Garda Ombudsman!

Meath Co Co workers dismantled everything and all belongings are now in Navan Garda Station. Across the road in the other Car Park, MD Security looked on and took photographs documenting proceedings but scattered when approached by protesters.

JP's supporters videod and photographed the proceedings too. Hopefully someone will post evidence of this illegal eviction here shortly.

Yet, another abomination in the saga of Tara and the M3. But of course, when one looks at Garda activities,
in other spheres, namely handling of street demonstrations, e.g. Reclaim the streets some years ago, etc,
one realises that one is in a Police State. The Gardai may not be armed with weapons but they are 'armed'
with excessive powers and is empowered with the ability to act with impunity.

If campers return to this piece of land what then ?
How could the cops arrest folks for trespass without the owner making the complaint ?
How could the cops arrest folks for public order offences when this is private land?

It would seem the Garda is taking the piss when he says complaints should be made to the Ombudsman.

Following the Tara saga threads it is clear that there are MANY incidents where complaints should in fact be made .

What is most disgracefull is the fact that the Garda are working with private security firm while they both indulge in illegal activities.Sickening.

The cops moved you cos you let them.

Sounds like you never properly questioned their authority, waived your rights and effectively consented to be moved.

Council land is public land, your land and my land. If Council want to move you they must apply to the courts in accordance with law, and you must be invited to argue against any eviction.

Gardai have jurisdiction only where criminal matters are concerned. Occupation of public land is a civil matter between you and the council, unless 'trespass' is invoked under Housing Miscellaneous Act. But that doesn't necessarily mean you should move either cos there are arguments against that act which effectively tries to criminalise civil desputes.

What you hear from someone or other is the correct procedure to stand your ground is just that - hearsay. It's been a few years now since activists occupied Tara, you should be learning the law to stand your ground. Are you learning?

'Curious' is right.
How could the cops arrest folks for trespass without the owner making the complaint ?
How could the cops arrest folks for public order offences when this is private land?
Answer - they can't.

Was anyone arrested?

Or did people move off the land cos the cops bluffed and bullied.

Learn the law and you won't be bluffed or bullied any more.

Apologies for abruptness of this comment, (written in a hurry).

Take care friends.

Thanks A Friend :) It would be very hard to stand your ground against the sheer force of numbers that swooped down though. How could you stop them dismantling things without getting physical ? -and sure then yer nabbed ! A Garda claiming to be a Sargeant with tag number MH5 suggested complaining to the Garda Ombudsman and that WILL be done. There are a lot of eyewitnesses who can testify that paperwork was not produced and video evidence is available also.

Saw this camp a few times in recent days, looked ugly and smelly, was definately a health hazard. Anyway, was passing and saw the Gardai there and the 4 council men. I counted nine Guards. Definately no private security involved. All I saw was the protesters putting their faces up aginst the Guards and shouting at them, two or three together at a time. I'm amazed that nobody was arrested, the Guards definately handled the situation well and were totally calm and did not rise to the provocation. I have no real views on the nature of the protest, just wanted to try and put some truth out on the table here, the talk about 20 guards and 5 squad cars is a laugh. The protestors will simply loose respect if they keep exaggerating and telling lies. Stick to the truth guys!

In fact the Garda never been seem WITHOUT the accompanying private security for over 12 months.

Comments like yours can lead only to the conclution that you are "old" bill.

I wonder sometimes who is working for who, when it comes to the Tara /M3 protest? Because it does seem a if there is a Government Mole within the SaveTara Movement, uping the ante and leading the genuine protestors to blindly follow.

What better excuse for fencing Tara off from the people, installing security personnel and making a charge for entry to this historic site.

Look across the water at Stonehenge, access used to be free, then came what effectively was a peoples movement with drink, drugs and rock & roll !
What happened on Tara in 2007 a smaller gathering of the same type that continued on into 2008 - dont people ever learn.

The latest nail in the Tara coffin and it's free access can be read above, JP's action only adds further ammunitition, giving reason for the authorities and the OPW to eventually close off the free acces and use the excuse that it is a preventitive measure due to unreasonable behaviour.

Mark my words -This will surely happen and it is now only a question of time ?

Moles? With so many people with purely self-serving and conflicting political and religious interests involved in the Tara campaign it's often very hard to distinguish the good and the bad guys. Even the borders between the pro M3 and anti-M3 campaigners are sometimes over-lapping and are ill-defined..

author by Tara Tara Tarapublication date Thu Jul 10, 2008 14:33author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Do you think they need an excuse? Dontcha think abolishing free access was always in the plan?

Fair play to the brave JP and friends.

Dos anyone have any wide angle shots to prove the numbers of Gardai, cars, Paddy Wagon etc???? Sure would love to prove it- I just report what I'm told by reliable eyewitnesses.

Videos of events over on another thread- the auld triangle, go see.
