Second Birthday of the tara Solidarity Vigil fire

category international | rights, freedoms and repression | event notice author Thursday June 19, 2008 12:22author by luckyC Report this post to the editors

Come one come all to celebrate the second birthday of the tara Solidarity Vigil fire !

17th June 2008.

Calling all friends of tara , the Vigil Fire is now safely burning at Belpere Farm, next to Rath Maeve on the Hill of tara.
The Tipi and kitchen are up and the communal bender is nearly done.
Help is needed to prepare and build for the Summer Solstice over the next few days.
The space looks great and the potential is ‘hugemongus’.

Come one come all, to celebrate the second birthday of the Vigil Fire this weekend by taking part in a mass Art collaboration,
record the valley ‘one moment in time’ at the Summer Solstice June 20th-23rd 2008.
Aligning with the Celtic calendar and our second anniversary in Solidarity.

If you are familiar with the area start from the car park on top of the hill and head down past the Holy Well.
After the sign for Rath Maeve Belpere farm is on the right with a stone wall with steps in it and an orange
dream catcher hanging over head.
If you are coming by bus get the 109 to Navan , get off at tara Post office or Ross Cross ,
head in a westerly direction up the hill and take the first right hand turn at the first cross roads.
This way Belpere Farm will be on the left.. Again look for the steps in the wall.
To lend your support and join in just buzz the Vigil on 0861758557.
Map of our location included.
Beir bua agus solas.
Nil neart go cur le cheile.
