offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Hi Des !

Thanks for that - much appreciated .
We're getting a fantastic re-action to this function - the ballad group 'Jig' obviously have their own fans and huge interest also in the raffle prizes on offer , especially the Bobby Sands memorial candle and the bodhron's .
It's shaping up to be another great night - the local 'Echo' newspaper , which published a full page of pics and a wee bit of a write-up following our last session in the 79'r have indicated that one of its photographers will again be calling in on the night!

Yourself and herself may yet end up on Page 3 , Des !

Thanks again ,

Sharon.

Does Cabhair have local committees or how does it operate? Will there be any information available on how to get involved on the night?

Hi Interested !

The Cabhair organisation has local committees and/or fund-raising support groups throughout the country and at least one Cabhair rep will be present at the gig on Saturday night - any of the lads doing the door will be glad to get someone to have a chat with you .

Thanks!

Hi! I have a question!

Does RSF hold commemorations of events that happened after the split from Sinn Fein in 1986?

If so, what events or people are commemorated?

Thanks!

author by JJ Kellypublication date Sat Jun 07, 2008 03:10author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Not a member of RSF but a few families have asked that the provos not go near the graves of their dead family members, Jim Lynagh, Seamus McElwaine amd Padraig McKearney are just what i can think of now that RSF commemorate. Though all those three were very RSF oriented and politically similiar. have also heard (cant confirm however) that a number of families in Armagh whose family members were killed on action post 86 have in the last few months approached RSF to 'take over' the commemorations. Makes sense having Republicans commemorate Republican dead alot more than Stormont politicians.

Best of luck on the ballad night, great to see support for the prisoners.

As interesting as the notion of RSF holding commemorations for people who were not allied to that organisation is, that fact does not really answer the question.

Has anything happened since 1986, which Republican Sinn Féin supported, that the party commemorates? An operation carried out by one of the dissident armed groups perhaps, a strike or protest of some sort, or maybe a prison break?

It's a genuine question.

author by go away ogra - nonepublication date Sun Jun 08, 2008 21:13author address author phone Report this post to the editors

I take it you didnt like the answer given, but i must correct you Jim Lynagh, Seamus McElwaine amd Padraig McKearney and many other Volunteers WERE allied with RSF.

RSF had strong support among a section ((many would say the ACTIVE section) of the PIRA . They had no time for the adams hartleys and mcguiness's of this world. Most likely wasnt good for their health in hindsight.

Those named and others were well known for their Republican principles which when one has ,one is 'allied' with RSF and the RM.

What else would Repubicans be but supportive of the Republican Movement?

Hi 'Another Go' !

I doubt very much that yours is "a genuine question" as your use of the term 'dissident' marks it out , to my mind , as otherwise.
BTW - we had another fantastic night at the ballad session in the 79'r ; it was a busy , dozen-things-to-do-but-enjoyable-night on which I hope to write a brief report as soon as possible . Just as soon as I round-up the pics that were taken by someone who was enjoying themselves even more than I was !

Thanks!

Dissident, to my mind means someone who disagrees with the prevailing orthodoxy. What word would you use? RSF are hardly mainstream are they?

Whatever about my choice of words, it is a genuine question. Any chance somebody could reply?

And to be honest, that's the first I have ever heard about IRA members supporting RSF in the 1980's. If it's true, why didn't somebody mention it at the time?

author by RSF is Sinn Feinpublication date Mon Jun 09, 2008 00:32author address author phone Report this post to the editors

RSF are Republican, those who have dissented from Republican politics are not them but Gerry Adams and his crew. As for 'somebody mentionng the political feeling of the Volunteers mentioned above they themselves mentioned it, The facts are well known to Republicans/ Do you have any past experiience in the RM at all or have you only been involved with the provos? For a man demanding answers you didnt reply to any put to you.

author by Sharon. - Individual.publication date Mon Jun 09, 2008 17:21author address author phone Report this post to the editors

Hi Still Hoping !

The "prevailing orthodoxy" within republicanism remains that which it has always been : you will have to ask those who disagree with that orthodoxy to explain why it is that they dissent from same , as republicans do not claim to speak on behalf of those 'dissidents'.
In relation to 'what word I would use' , that would depend on which group it was that I was questioning but I would not 'load' the question with such a sloppy term as 'dissident' .
And it's not a case of simply saying "Whatever about my choice of words, it is a genuine question." If it was a genuine question it should have been better worded. I , for one , would not attempt to answer any loaded question like that.

Thanks!

Sharon.

Hi !

If you want something done properly , you do it yourself !
I could only locate one photograph of the event , as I wasn't on 'camera duty' myself in the 79'r that night : I was sitting in a corner of the function room working on a raffle that was to be held in Clondalkin the following day (Sunday 8th June) which involved 'booking back' over 600 tickets and double-checking that each returned stub was accompanied by a €2 coin - while I was doing that , another person was taking photographs of the ballad session for use on this thread and elsewhere but , unfortunately , she hadn't got the camera set properly :-( !

However : we had a good crowd , some of whom arrived late due to being distracted by two soccer matches and some others of whom were , unfortunately , 'distracted' by one or more of the nine Special Branch men who had positioned themselves outside the premises. There was a problem with the electrics in the function room caused by one of three reasons : the air-conditioning unit , a dish-washer in one of the kitchens and/or a Special Branch man chewing on the ESB pole outside but the gig went ahead as intended .
The auction items both met their reserve prices and over one-thousand raffle tickets were sold in the hall for the other five items : all-in-all , a good sum of money was raised for the families of republican prisoners , the group , 'Jig' , knew their stuff and everyone enjoyed themselves !
Thanks!

Sharon.
