Dublin Meeting

14 meetings right across the 32 Counties. All welcome

Caoimhe Butterly has been working in and around the Middle East for a number of years.

Her eye-witness accounts are invaluable for most of us who have to make do with what we are being fed by the mainstream print and electronic media.

As Lebanon enters a period of political instability - a dangerous vacuum with no President and no political solution/compromise in sight.
As Palestinians living in a variety of refugee camps in Lebanon look anxiously at Annapolis and Nablus and wonder about their short and long term future
As those living and exiled recently from Nahr-el Bared return cautiously to the mayhem left behind by the Lebanese Army and the insurgents

A number of activists have come together to support her tour and the meetings

The IPSC, Anti-war Ireland, the Irish Anti-War Movement, the Galway Alliance Against the War, the Derry Anti-War Alliance and the Raytheon 9, Amnesty and a number of individuals are supporting the tour.

First meeting will be in Sligo at 8.30.p.m.on Monday Dec 3rd and will take place in the Glasshouse Hotel, Hyde Bridge, Sligo. It is being held under the auspices of the Connolly Forum and the IPSC.
Dublin is second with a meeting in the Theatre behind Connolly Books at 7.30 pm on Tuesday Dec 4th (see poster). Cork welcomes Caoimhe in UCC lunchtime on Wednesday Dec5th and that night there is a Public Meeting in Clonakilty. Then Limerick, Galway, Derry (possibly Strabane), Belfast, back to Dublin in the Amensty Cafe on Wednesday Dec 12th and ending in Cork on Thursday Dec.13th.

Watch this space as more details of venues are confirmed.
