Anti-Fur Demonstrations (Global Weekend against Escada) - CAFT Ireland / N.A.R.A.

category dublin | animal rights | event notice author Sunday October 07, 2007 11:58author by Laura Broxson - CAFT Ireland / N.A.R.A.author email caftireland at yahoo dot ieauthor address PO Box 11019, Dublin 2. Report this post to the editors

As part of the Global Weekend of Action against ESCADA, we'll be having a demonstration at one of the only designer clothes stores in Ireland that sells this brand.

WHEN: 12noon - 2pm, Saturday 13th October

WHERE: Richard Alan, 58 Grafton Street, Dublin 2.

Richard Alan also sells real fur items by other brands, so even if ESCADA go fur-free, this store will remain a target of protest. I would also like to note that we have given fur packs to this store, and have had talks with the managers, twice in the past year but to no avail.

After we finish there on Saturday, we'll be moving on to demo Sydney Vard Furriers (South Anne Street, Dublin 2) from 2pm - 3pm.

We need as many people as possible on Saturday, especially for the first demonstration, so please let us know if you can make it ( email: CAFTIRELAND@YAHOO.IE ).

Many Thanks,

Laura Broxson
