Poker night
Wednesday 28 February, 2007 : 20:00:00 - 23:30:00

Venue:
Teachers Club, 36 Parnell Square, Dublin

Details:

A poker night will be held in Dublin on Wednesday february 28th as a fundraiser for Left Tribune, the national magazine of Labour Youth.

Left Tribune was recently re-launched and the last two issues have been well-received at all levels of the party. We believe it has helped to set the agenda for debate, campaigns and policy within the Labour Party. The magazine is entirely self-funded and fundraising is a necessary requirement to keep the frequent issues coming.

Details of the Poker night are as follows;

Venue: Teachers Club, 36 Parnell Square, Dublin 1
Date: Wednesday, 28th February
Time: 8 pm*
Game Type: No Limit Texas Holdem - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Texas_Holdem
Buy-in: €20

Details: €10 of each buy in goes to the prizepool, and €10 to the magazine. 2500 chips starting stack. Blinds will be raised every 20 minutes. Rebuys are allowed for the first 100 minutes. Payout structure will be decided on the basis of how many turn up on the night.

* - those who register by 7.30pm will receive an extra 250 chips in their starting stack.

All are welcome, and even if you haven't played much there'll be people along on the night to help you out.
