In his Sixth Form Christmas quiz this year, none of Dave Summers's students could name the author of To Kill a Mockingbird ? previously one of the easy questions. Another sign that wokery is dissolving our culture.

If Christmas songs fall foul of Labour's 'banter ban', Christmas carols ? with their 'offensive' assertions of the divinity of Christ that are deemed blasphemous by Islam ? are even more likely to, says Julian Mann.

offsite link Starmer to Push Britain into Stricter Net Zero Targets Under EU Deal Wed Dec 24, 2025 15:26 | Will Jones
Keir Starmer is preparing to tie Britain to the EU's Net Zero plans in a move that would impose radically stricter 'green' energy targets on homes and businesses, leading to further deindustrialisation and impoverishment.

Brian in Parliament Sq during the criminal trial of the Pitstop Ploughshares

brian attended the ceremony with Barbara Tucker - who has been protesting with him for nearly a year now. There was an audience of Members of Parliament, Peers and journalists. Mark Thomas, the radical comedian who does his own protest against the restrictions on protest around Parliament Sq with the Mass Lone Demos presented brian with the award. brian then gave a short rousing speech that had much of the audience giving him wholehearted support. Others in the audience, Charles Clarke for one, had their Prada knickers in a war-mongering sweat.

brian was the clear winner with 54% of the vote.

Gen Sir Richard Dannatt, the head of the British Army, who embarrassed the UK Government by saying troops should be withdrawn from Iraq, came second with 18 per cent.

War criminal Blair and David Cameron got 8% and 6% respectively.

The award ceremony which was broadcast on Saturday evening will be repeated at 3AM early tomorrow morning - Tuesday 13th Feb.

Well done Brian & fair play to C4 for the publicity. It's a pity more organisations (ahem!) don't recognise the efforts & suffering of people like Brian Haw & the Pitstop Ploughshares to wake up the conscience of Gt Britain & Ireland. A grand example of 1 person's terrific resistance against huge odds.

I have huge admiration for Brian Haw. I mean, immense respect.

I saw him in the summer of 2002 and he is still there! As soon as I met him I did all I could to find out about him.

He had a huge influence on moving me from a position of apathy to action.

I suspect he had a similar effect on countless others.

The facts, statistics and pictures he has of UK War Crimes at his camp cuts through the lies, propaganda, spin and bullshit emanating from across the road.
