CAAW is the tiny Cork branch of the IAWM. Has about four or five members. Tell us, is their anybody in this grouplet that isn't a member of the SWP? One maybe.

It's just the cork branch of the swp plus a hanger on or two - antiwar activists in cork are in awi.

Actually I am not a member of any political organisation. I am simply an individual who is against the current wars in the Middle East and Ireland's involvement in it. And regardless, the campaign against war is open to all people no matter what their personal religious or political beliefs are.

In the last few months CAAW has organised two anti war fundraiser gigs, hosted a speaking tour of Iraq Veterens Against the War (Benjamin Hart Viges and Frank Corcoran) and held a screening in the Kino Cinema of 'Road to Guantanamo'.

Keep up the good work - don't worry. So far they defined you as an "SWP hanger on"....soon, once they see the work all of you are doing in Cork giving results and making headway you will be called "a muppet", an "SWP troll", " a blind servant of the Trots" or, possibly worse. These are epithets used against many of us in Dublin and elsewhere who are in the IAWM but not members of the SWP! It would be so much easier for them if the IAWM was composed exclusively by SWP members....but as more and more of us join independently they're getting seriously upset.

And these messages and attacks come, supposedly, from people who care about the anti-war movement. Anonymously, of course, always....that's why so many anti-war activists are not very keen to use Indymedia. They get sick and tired reading off-the-wall comments....they reckon they have better things to do.

Some of these rantings are a sign of political immaturity - other aspects of it are State and intelligence community trolls spreading division....at the end it comes down to the same despicable process. But it's also a sign that they're seriously worried.....there is still hope.

Keep up the good work....
