Usually, genocide historically doesnt mean the Opressed firing Katyusha's? seems like Hezzie has bitten a Tiger. As the Germans used to say: "PANZERS.... VORWARTS MARCHE"

Excellent point, thank you for pointing out that the Hezzbollah, & Hamas are out to perform genocide on the Jews of Israel. It must take a brave person now days to point out that sad fact to comrades enthralled with Love for hate groups such as those, you are brave. Thank You
CBC's "The National" has been portraying this story in the (by now familiar) fake "balance" mode. E.g. reporters typically will say something along the lines of "the shelling is continuining on both sides with 2 IDF soldiers and one Lebanese boy killed". These statements lack the statistical background of the total number of civilians and combatants killed on both sides. On the July 20th edition one of these presentations was followed with a brief segment about how Hizbollah rockets were inaccurate and could land in Lebanese areas and then an RAI segment about IDF reservists being called up.
Naked fucking propaganda. (CBC = Canadian Broadcasting Corporation)
Meanwhile a good deal of the coverage is about how Canada (specifically Stephen Harper's conservative government) has been slow and ineffective about evacuating our citizens compared to all other countries. Canada has one of the largest expat communities there (about 50,000) . Harper diverted the presidential plane from Paris to Lebanon to pick up refugees personally but made sure that he and a photographer were there to record the occasion and occupy seats that could have been filled by people in need. This has not played well in the media.
Sorry I didn't see the notice for the demo until it was too late, or I would of been there with you.
I have long been disgusted by the biased reporting of the western press. I remember a few years ago when after a bomb in Jerusalem the BBC announced the "Bomb had brought to an end a reletively peaceful few weeks" That "Reletiviley peacefull few weeks" had seen 75 Palestinians killed!! It has seemed perfectly clear to any fair thinking observer that some life in the region is thought of as more important than others.
However It seems that this time the excesses of the Israeli state terrorism is even causing some of it's usual supporters to take a step back and question what is going on.
It doesn’t matter what anyone thinks nowadays as we are in the grip of dark forces where the old adage applies “how do you get someone to report the truth when his or her salary depends on not reporting it” We are now probably in the final phase of humanity where humans will eagerly take instructions from a screen. We see persons only out of diapers when it comes to democracy wheeling their fellow man including children about in barrows and makeshift carts in Guntanmo, held without trial or hope.
Kim Howell has made a bit of noise about the destruction in Lebanon and forced the Govt hand, all too late for the children of Lebanon that were maimed or died. Any Nation or person that condones this fundamental depravity has no business calling themselves human; they simply lack the basic instincts that most other species possess, this is called nature. There needs to be an appraisal of history and questions asked why we are now witnessing opposites, i.e. did anyone learn anything from the holocaust, if they did why they are doing their nasty to others.
There is limited scope for protesting but it is still worth trying, as silence or censorship will not protect anyone from the ugly future that we are creating. An Arab’s child is just as important as anyone else’s child and if people cannot grasp this fundamental they should not be in a position of authority that commands any respect.
If we even only think positively about the innocent victims it may be of assistance in some small way.
