Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza
China?s CITY WIDE CASH SEIZURES Begin ? ATMs Frozen, Digital Yuan FORCED Overnight Wed Jul 30, 2025 21:40 | 1 of indy
This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty
A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Black people make up 4% of the UK but appear in over half of adverts, according to a new Channel 4 report. Is the industry finally realising that such fake over-representation is off-putting, asks Lee Taylor.

the pictures really say it all. we really live in a beautiful country. great to keep the traditional crafts alive
I was down at Ecotopia a few years ago in Del's place and its great to see the photos and look at how the place has come on. Jaysus, makes me want to go back!
Howdy Niall,
An excellent report. I'm jealous that I didn't go.
I agree with elf, we do indeed have a beautiful country. Thanks for sharing.
A big hello too to Cormac a buddy of mine seen in some of the photos. Now I'm really sickened I didn't go.
wow, what a weekend - thanks to all who have played their part in this unfolding story
from the river that has been here for god knows how long, the wooded banks that saw life for nearly as long, the man who came from further a field, who came up the river and ended up living in a magical woods, to the folk who came over time to share in the magic and to help make things grow, to the people in the nearby village who pitched in together and helped make a beautiful, simple and powerful community, to the woman from beyond the village who took an interest in seeds and started saving them, to the friends who joined her in her back garden, to the folk who came from further afield for a few weeks back in 2002, to the folk who kept it going, kept the connections alive, to those who took it to the next level, to those who shared knowledge on building homes and making chairs, to those that lifted the spirits with tales and tunes around the fires, to those who shared time, tea, peace and quite, to those that were simply there, who smiled and who said nothing.
strange times indeed. But dont think it too strange for a moment that a little story as simple as this will end up being told by old un-hungry women in bolivia, young children without weapons in liberia, children in what was worn torn bosnia, primary school children on their ecological field trip to an eco village in lahinch. We are part of the story, we all have our bit to play, and the pleasure is simply living the life with the rest of this global community and knowing before laying down to rest that it is the only thing that makes sense, it has always been the way, it has always been simple, it has always been known.
strange days indeed.
a new dawn
wow that place looks really nice, shame about all the hippies tho..i think there's nets you can get to round them up! :<

Yeah, looks great and I'm glad you all had a great time. Lovely photos. I'm off to Italy soon and when I come back I promise to stick up various photos of me and me mates doing stuff like killing fish etc.
Very nice pictures an all that, but why do you think this merits a story on indymedia? Like, why exactly should we be interested? Are we supposed to go 'Wow! Wish I was there!' ?? I'm not a lifestyler eco-type so this is all pretty meaningless to me, but even if I was what is the point of sticking pics of your nice weekend away on indymedia?
Hold yer breath for my photos from Italy! They'll be great.
Thanks Niall for an excellent report and photos. Comment from 'Job' asks why put this on Indymedia? Well, CELT has these events regularly and I suppose it's just possible that people seeing the report might be interested in what we do and might want to try it out themselves. It's all about local sustainable communities - use of local renewable or recycled resources to make buildings, tools, utensils, sports gear, etc. Also there's the link with nature - living and working in a sustainably managed woodland beside an unspoilt area of lakeshore rich in biodiversity. Don't think I need say much more, except that this way of life could happen in most rural communities throughout Ireland, creating jobs, saving energy and caring for the environment. More support from government and local authorities wouldn't go amiss.
Mr SOLIDARITY ! - Niall Harnett
Great photos and a wonderful record of a weekend that would inspire even the most dour individual!

I'll be back.
Hi, just to add a wee bit about the community garden that happened at the same time in Scariff. People from at least 6 different communtiy garden projects from Dublin, Belfast, Gort and Scariff met up in the cooperative cafe in scariff over the weekend in the woods. We watched the wonderful documentary "the power of community" which was all about local and urban food production in Cuba. We also enjoyed a tour of the Scariff community garden, and shared thoughts and dreams on how we could help each other out in the future. I think a full report is to impending in the coming weeks, so watch this space!
LOVE! mims

Hi, just incase anyone follows this thread, here's the website for Belfast's community garden. I'ts mostly just photos and events notices at the minute. This is mostly just so that people can Google for the website address. Thanks
Oh no, I have just heard that a good friend has passed away. That wild and passionate man, that Dub who moved to west clare, who moved on to fight up in Rossport, Niall Harnett... Condolences to Carol and to all who laughed with Niall, drank tea out by the lake of Dells woods after Ecotopia, had a few cans of beer and a dance at the climate camps in England, met up in Clare and admired the sheer beauty of it all.
I hope your presence remains with the rest of us and lights that fire for justice, for the earth and for our fellow travellers. I cant believe we will never have that cup of tea by the lake we talked about.
I can still see him smiling with that glint and saying "allright Dunko whats the crack"
