they havent actually arrived in the country, have they?
That plane mentioned is still on the Westair stand in the airport, visibility at the airport bad at the moment.
Having been parked overnight at Westair at Shannon Airport, the spooks left soon after the fog lifted from the airport.
N6161Q left Shannon at 12.05 this afternoon, beating a retreat north west over the Atlantic.
Aviation Specialties Inc is widely believed to be a front company for the CIA.
Aircraft registered to Aviation Specialties Inc, have landed at the Desert Rock /Camp Atom airfield in Nevada (along with other aircraft such as N379Pand N313P already exposed as CIA torture jets as well as N85VM, which was 'borrowed' from the Boston Red Sox, for secret missions)
According to US sources, at least some of the aircraft registered to Aviation Specialties Inc were used by Aero Contractors, another front company used by the US govt for military operations.
Reported in Afghanistan in 2001 and in Iraq in 2004.
Along with Path Corporation, Devon Holding and Leasing, Crowell Aviation, and others, these front companies are used to disguise CIA operations.
One has to wonder, given the CIA's history (including using aircraft to fly plane loads of weapons to the Contras, and having the same planes return full of drugs used to finance dirty little wars) what these planes may be bringing back from Afghanistan - source of about 75% of the world's heroin...
also known as "the Farm"... this is a CIA training and operations centre.
N6161Q has been logged at Camp Peary on at least three occassions.
N88ZL, a Boeing 707, parked in the middle of the airfield.
Registered to Lowa Ltd, and recent visitor to Bagram Air Force Base in Afghanistan

It could be carrying some congressmen to Iraq...
I know for a fact that Steve Lynch from south
Boston was on his way over today and it is about
a six hour flight to Shannon from Boston. There
could have been other members with him...I happened to hear him on the radio this morning about 7 a.m. Other than that, I wouldn't have a clue..
will check back to see if you find out...
Just to note that the entire Irish naval service is missing from its Haulbowline Base. Not one of the eight Irish naval ships is in port right now leaving the naval base unprotected. Five of the ships, led by L.E. Niamh were seen heading for West Cork on Sunday. The only naval activity seen in Cork harbour since yesterday was a Danish Navy frigate departing.
It was parked in the centre of the airfield, not up at the terminal. Unless these congressmen/women were planning to stay overnight in Clare, before heading to Iraq, I doubt this was their plane.
CIAs rendition planes such as n313p or n379p and successors seem to have disappeared after the international press reports in early 2005. I wonder what planes they use know. The torture flights certainly go o. Anyone any idea?
clear pic and detail.
as fuck are not using Dehavilland Otters!!!
that is a short range Very Short Takeoff and Landing aircraft [VSTOL] More suited for lifting folks out of an area in Ghanistan but not for long range Atlantic hops.
also how do you know it is a CIA plane?Did it have "SPOOK AIRLINES" written on it???
For those who claim to be plane spotters and watching these so called "torture flights"[INMHO put the suspects on Aer Lingus or Ryan Air and make them fly to somwhere in Europe.ANYONE would confess to anything just to get off those two airlines!] Dont know very much about the CIA and how it operates or about it's airline and aircraft capability.
To go into what the CIA is capable of in aircraft logistics would require a multi page post. But I can suggest first a google search on Air America.Just to find out how long they have been in the plane busisness. Then I would suggest a trip to Sthn Arizona around Davis Monthan airforce base. There are certain airfields there that have aircraft ranging from old ww2 planes to modern 747s and transporters and executive jets. Not to mind the ability to put together "ghost" aircraft[a duplicate of a commerical registerd aircraft right down to the correct paperwork and even duplicate serial nrs on the aircraft parts!!!]
So for them to lose two executive jets, which INMHO is very unlikely to be used anyway as a carrier is no problem to them. The giveaway is how long they are on the ground. If you have a valuable cargo[ IE supposed prisioner] you will want to get it off the ground ASAP and on to wherever your cargo must go.Not park up on the ramp for 24 hours!!!!
If it is on the ground along time, there is nothing worthwhile on it.Dont bother breaking into it !You wont find any racks or thumbscrews or anything incriminating either.
Fact is people, the CIA has been in the game a looooong time more than you lot,and all the plane spotting or demos will bring you nothing except a touchyfeely good sensation that you are "doing somthing".
could the dehavilland be off a carrier group currently sitting off the west/swest of ireland maybe thats also where the navy is.
A De Haviland is NOT a carrier based aircraft, nor is it a military aircraft. It is a civvie that has the capability of landing on very short rough airstrips.Sorry,no conspircy theory here.

Or like the cowardly lion said in the Wizard of Oz:
"I do beleive in spooks, I DO believe in spooks....I do I do I DO!!!"
the _twin_ otter is NOT a 'VERY short range' STOL aircraft. it is used by the Canadian military to service very distant operations in the extreme north, like eureka and alert.
the carrier idea is a little bit of a stretch. but getting from n. america to ireland isn't.
:P
The Twin Otter servicing Alert? The Otter doesn't have legs that long......unless ferry tanks are installed. If ferry tanks are installed, there won't be enough usefull load left over to carry any cargo or passengers......hence not being used to service Alert and the other northern bases way up in the Canadian Arctic islands. C-130's are used for this purpose. When the Otter's go up to Alert, they are generally on maneuvers or being used for specialty op's. They will strap the ferry tanks in, fly to Alert, remove the tanks and then go about what ever job they are needed for, using Alert as a base of operations.
In standard configuration, the twin Otter will have about five hours of gas maximum. At 150 knots, that doesn't compute to a long range. Was the Otter used to transport prisoners accross the Atlantic? Not bloody likely! Thats what the State Departments B 757's are used for! The Twin Otter was probably used to transport field personel, equipment and possibly prisoners around in the boondocks of western Asia and was just returning to North America after that certain mission was complete.
Sorry to rain on the conspiracy theorists parade, but the Otter doesn't have the capability to cross the Atlantic with a load of prisoners destined for Gitmo.
