Making Sense of Trump?s Tariffs Fri May 02, 2025 13:00 | Ramesh Thakur
There's method in Trump's tariff madness, says Ramesh Thakur. Uniting his America First, anti-Net Zero and anti-DEI policies is an imperative to untangle the US from strategic dependence on an ascendant China.

Norway will not grant asylum to Israeli nuclear whistleblower Mordechai Vanunu, the Associated Press reported Friday (see GSN, April 13).
The Norwegian government confirmed Friday that it had rejected Vanunu’s application in November.
“We have instructed (the immigration directorate), based on foreign policy consideration, that he must get a rejection. No one gets asylum in Norway when they have not applied in Norway,” said Erna Solberg, minister of local government and regional development. “We do not intend to invite Vanunu by giving him political asylum as an extraordinary measure.”
Vanunu has applied for asylum from several nations. Sweden last year rejected his application, also stating that Geneva Conventions rules require asylum seekers to file the request in the country to which they seek to move, AP reported.

Did you know that Vanunu has also made moves to seek asylum here in Ireland.
This is something we should support
Thursday night inUL a special event marking the first anniversary of his release.
Speical speaker will talk on the night
How about applying to Iran for asylum.
This new anti-nuclear poster boy could then protest at the imminent bombing of their nuclear weapons facilities.
Much like he protested at the destruction of Osirak.
Israeli nukes bad.
Arab nukes....
Noel,
I would like to see you spend 18 years in jail for your convictions
arab nukes bad all nukes bad
listen to his message nuclear weapns are evil
it amazes me how thick , stupid and ignorant people are
'I would like to see you spend 18 years in jail for your convictions'.
180,000 convictions to be exact.
He wanted more, but that was all the Sunday Times were prepared to pay.
hi noel,
have you met the man
i have,
he got no money and denies he got money,
go back to the israeli embassy and get paid yourself you troll
and answer the question
was his action even if he was paid for it, worthwhile, highlighting the development of a secret nuclear arsenal
Nicolo,
Was Vanunu's action worthwhile?
Actually, I believe it was worthwhile.
Israel probably knew he would try to sell his story. He duly does, no actual secrets were lost, no details, no specifics.
However, the Arab Leagus wet their pants and have a serious rethink about the ol' War of Annihiliation gig. Very worthwhile.
as i said go back to the zionist embassy
take a look at zionist agression
idiot trying to talk about something you know knowthing about
You say I know f**k nothing.
But I know f**k all.
Calm down Nicolo, your Judenhass is beginning to show.
