I have to admit I do find it funny reading things like 'keep your children away, nudity is the devils work, hide your shame' type crap here on IMC.
theres nothing wrong with nudity in an appropriate context ie beach, the home, late night telly ,or even a dodgy club with consenting adults if thats really your bag...man.
But im sure many would agree advertising the fact that theres going to be some doll in the nip covered with chains in the middle of Dublin city centre in the middle of the afternoon just isnt right. Surely there is a better way to highlight causes about animal cruelty than combining a nude woman with bondage, voyeurism and degrading behaviour. This is shameful for all women and it is quite disgusting that she has felt she has to drop to this sort of behaviour for support. I bet it is men running the circus in any case.

All the slaggers who have dismissed this protest probably admire the H block hunger strikers some of who went naked for years refusing to wear prison clothes. They also smeared their own shit on the walls. I know many of my friends who have no sympathy for the IRA or SF but admire the courage of the hunger strikers.
But the same people are mocking this protest. Irregardless of the issue I admire anyone who is willing to protest naked in this weather and with the prudish attudes of irish people and put up with the taunts that she had to suffer. If we are progressives we should only be concerned about the health risks to this animal liberation activist.
