At the top of hill somewhere between Conmaneer, on the way to staying at an activist's house tonight
Yesterday was the toughest day, cycling for 8 hours, raining all through it. * Miserable.
Stopped in Roscrea, people were lovely, feding everybody extra portions and giving out about Bush.
Got lost after Barna, cycled down a one-way lane to a deserted farmhouse, the first navigation mistake so far.
Back to Brana, found Cloughjordan and had a break there.
Got to hostel around 7.30, at Drumaneer, outside Nenagh, by Lough Derg.
Had a lovely breakfast and left this morning around 10.30.
Interviewed on Tiperrary FM and Newstalk.
On the way to Birdhill for lunch, weather's a bit windy but not as bad as yesterday. First puncture this morning around 11.30.
Staying somewhere around Annacotty tonight.

* about five or six days of rain in one day, if I'm reading the Met Eireann site right.

I did warn you about Barna. & as for Roscrea, did any of the locals have nosebleeds?

Where they are today:-
County Limerick.

Annacotty has the oldest Golf Club in the World! It also has an industrial estate which keeps quiet about the components in makes.
shhh!
Annacotty Industrial Park is located just 20 miles from Shannon International Airport which provides direct flights to North America, the United Kingdom and mainland Europe.
