She was (obvious from the video) just standing there and slowly wlaking away, they had no right to push her around.
What purpose is that serving?

As above.
Those idiots who obviously are officiandos of the Sun and similar publishings and who post comments such as those above should really take a lesson in reality and maybe even study some law.

Its not illegal to stand on a road you ignorant imbociles and if you even had the slightest grasping of the political entity that is the E.U you would then understand why we were there.
Fuck off to America where your low level of intellect might fit in better.

All I see is a crowd of happy people bravely holding formation and retreating slowly, orderly and humourously, and in an orderly fashion in front of a masked and armed gang

Only see one set of cowards here

Who would be a cop for ANY money - what a job

Welcome to the EU shut the fuck up or we'll batter ya!

Good footage i like the "fastest piece to camera"

Congrats to all great week end

and what a waste of 4 million euro of tax money

I'm delighted the cops beat the shit out of all you pinko dickheads. I'm just sorry the Army didn't get to run you over with their APCs! I can't wait for your next march.

"im sorry but that girl was deliberately standing RIGHT in front of the guards" - what a heinous crime - standing in th emiddle of the road like that! she should be locked up, or batoned at the very least, for it is illegal to stand on the road in this country. sure what are the footpaths for?

"It still scares the crap out of me, the Gardai pushing peacful protestors around, as the video says, picking on a girl, who was, just standing there.
Ridiculous stuff.."

Scary? Yes.
But I am not going to be intimidated.
Anyway I do not believe in mounting a pitched battle against a stronger, better equiped and trained force.
Just as well I got my revenge in first then, is it not?

Yes, well done Gardai, you ripped the Irish people off and you terrorised the people you are supposed to protect. I'm really disgusted.

I hate the way the media always put some fucked up spin on things..

If the protest had been 100% peaceful it would have been "Well done Gardai" If it hadnt and the police had battered the life out of peolpe it would have been "Rioters cause violence"

I echo the words of the people on that video, fuck this democracy. This isn't freedom.

Nice to see a professional police service manage a crowd of protestors properly.
