offsite link My BBC Complaint About Chris Packham?s Daily Sceptic Slur Thu Apr 25, 2024 15:52 | Toby Young
Last Sunday, Chris Packham made a false and defamatory allegation on the BBC about the team behind the Daily Sceptic, claiming they had "close affiliations to the fossil fuel industry". The BBC then signal-boosted it. ?

offsite link Another Clue Pointing to an American Origin of the Virus Thu Apr 25, 2024 14:18 | Will Jones
It's increasingly clear the virus leaked from a lab in Wuhan. But could it have been made in the USA? Will Jones suggests the behaviour of the Chinese Government before and after the sequence was published gives us a clue.

It is now in Prague where freedom of speech is tolerated, and it is in Britain where it is under assault, says ?t?pán Hobza. Sackings and character assassinations have proliferated in the 'cradle of liberalism'.

Survey of Indymedia Ireland Users

category national | indymedia ireland | opinion/analysis author Friday November 21, 2003 21:11author by Eoin Dubsky Report this post to the editors

Please take part!!

http://www.freesurveysonline.com/fso/AskSurvey.fso?Survey=3560&CheckID=3193

At the web address above is a quick little questionnaire I made today for Indymedia Ireland users to fill in. "Why?" you ask.... Well now its for a college assignment (Multimedia, DCU)... But I will share the info with you here (no names, IP addresses are recorded) again so we can improve Indymedia in the future.

C'mon! It'll just take a few seconds to fill out (six questions) -- and all the questions are multiple-choice! :-)

Please use the comments section below to respond with any thoughts which you'd like to have included in a survey of Indymedia Ireland users, which isn't covered in the questionnaire. Some stuff, for example, is too difficult to put into a questionnaire.... the more qualitative stuff.

Many thanks!

...Oh, and when you're done the questionnaire will redirect you to my personal homepage, where I can then hopefully tell what kind of computer setup you have (using my trusty echelon technology). Are you using Netscape or IE, Windows or Linux, Apple or Amiga even.... :-)

Thanks everyone who has already responded to the questionnaire. Looks like you're mostly male so far, and many of you are frequent users of Indymedia (that's why you responded so quickly, no?).

This item may get lost in the newswire come Monday or Tuesday, but until then... Please feel free to leave a COMMENT here about aspects of your experience of (and hopes for) Indymedia which aren't covered in the questionnaire. Any technical features you'd like? Anything bugging you? Any suggestions?

I guess you probably flushed out your browser's cookies and changed your IP address 30 times then?

Hi Eoin, nice idea to do the survey, could be a growth area, finding out what people actually think....

Only point I'd have is that Q.6 doesn't really allow for much of a response. Whilst i would value some of the reports on indymedia quite highly, others(in a similar category) are often worse than useless. I know it's not easy with a multiple choice format but your survey will probably show a higher level of satisfaction with imcIE than is actually the case.

unless of course the trolls show up

I've just voted 3 more times today!!

I don't have a PC at home I use an internet cafe, those cookies are cleaned out after every session.

I've got nothing better to do and I have a Puckish sense of humour.
