Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

Environmentalists, Others, LOSE Big Time by "Smoking" Bans

Beware the "Pretend Enemy" tactic.
The same corporate establishment that clearcuts the forests, pollutes air and water and food, paves open spaces, violates work safety laws, creates "FrankenFood" and so forth, pushes "no smoking". There is a LOT wrong with this picture. (Some parts may be U.S. specific, but...)
A list of links to documentation about the Hidden Side of the "smoking" issue was posted at:
http://boston.indymedia.org/front.php3?article_id=17161
Unfortunately, the list does not seem to have made its way to legislators who have plowed ahead to SERVE "Big Tobacco" (yes) and the rest of the cigarette cartel by pushing the indoor "smoking ban". The old Pretend Enemy ploy rides again.
Big Cig, the supposed enemy, is served enormously. Legislation doesn't even acknowledge that the "smoke" they address has not yet been analyzed or described for content. Big Cig happily evades disclosure of its many toxic, carcinogenic, burn-accelerating, kid-appealling, and addiction-enhancing non-tobacco cigarette ingredients.
Legislators go as far as to MAINTAIN the advertising lie that typical cigarettes are just tobacco even though some products may legally contain no tobacco at all. How "tobacco smoke" or "ETS" (2nd hand tobacco smoke) can possibly come from something that doesn't contain tobacco is either a water-into-wine miracle, or impossible.
U.S. patents abound for processes to make "tobacco substitute material" out of industrial waste cellulose. Many patents are from Philip Morris. No WONDER they don't want any Ingredients Listing.
Of course, all the ingredients suppliers are happy that they are not implicated, charged or even QUESTIONED about their part in the industry. Big Pesticides (i.e., Oil and Pharms), for one, does not care to be linked to the most demonized product on the market.
All of the cartel's insurers and investors are, understandably, happy that they don't have to face disclosure, embarrassment, liabilities and profit loss by way of any talk of ingredients.
So...besides the secretly victimized smokers, and bar/restaurant owners who are being hit with laws to address a problem NOT of their creation...there are many who lose by this grossly fraudulent, distracting, scapegoating, and scientifically baseless "smoking" ban. Yeah...who wants smoke in their hair, but...for the tiny crumb of getting fresh smelling hair, a pile of important things are sacrificed, including justice itself.
Some losers are:
ENVIRONMENTALISTS...lose a golden chance to legitimately discredit the pesticide and chlorine industries that have done more damage to the planet than all the nuclear weapons and bombs combined. There are hundreds of pesticides registered for tobacco use. See the link above for info about lax gov't regulation of Pesticide residues on tobacco.
Big Oil is PART AND PARCEL of Big Cig via these pesticides. Their product's emissions do not just go into cars, and then into our lungs, they go into typical cigarettes (which THEY call "tobacco") and then into our lungs. Can't blame a natural plant for THAT. But legislators, collecting money from the petrochem biz, do prefer to blame tobacco.
Enviros fight the Genetically Modified crop industry...yet GM stuff, tobacco, spices and who knows what other crop products, has been added to cigs for a while. So...though the GM folks are PART of Big Cig, their credibility about "safety" concerns is not challenged. Further, GM producers like Monsanto make pesticides as well. How many show up as residues in typical cigs? That Marlboro cowboy may have more ROUNDUP involvements than he thought.
Agribusinesses, putting small farms out of business, dumping pesticides and radioactive phosphate fertilizers all over the map, contribute MANY non-tobacco agricultural cig ingredients. See the list at the link above. If these suppliers are Con-Agra, ADM, Cargil and the like, ought they not be brought in to TESTIFY about their part in Big Cig, and their part in making the smoke from typical cigs so toxic?
Enviros know that Big Sugar is one of the worst environmentally damaging industries. Wall Street Journal noted that a Marlboro contains a whopping 12.3% sugar. No wonder kids like them. Why anyone likes Big Sugar enough to not question the industry about its cig connection is a mystery. This "sugar" MAY be also corn and beet sugars...but that would just spread the indictment to the Ag-Biz firms as well.
Where does that chlorine bleached cig paper COME from? Ultimately, from logging, from the dioxin-belching paper pulp industry. No enviros, yet, have inquired into which logging/pulp/paper firms not-so-proudly supply dioxin-delivering paper to the cig biz.
It is very troubling that all these industries are allowed to get away with secretly poisoning millions of unsuspecting consumers...but the victims, who are STILL TOLD they are just using tobacco, will face fines and arrest for "smoking".
It is, in a way, MORE troubling that environmentalists...who oppose so many parts of the cig industry, refuse to publicize or address the matter.
Other interests lose in "smoke ban" cases:
CAMPAIGN FINANCE ACTIVISTS: Were it not for massive corruption of our regulatory system by Big Cig, all the cig ingredients' suppliers, and all their advertisers, insurers and investors, we may have had just plain, organic cigarettes all along...with the resultant less smoking and the inevitably lower, perhaps SIGNIFICANTLY lower, health problems...if any. How many "anti-smoking" Mass. legislators do NOT accept funding, or investment benefits, from parts of the cigarette cartel? Check for petrochemicals, pharms and insurance links.
HEALTH CARE/SINGLE PAYER ACTIVISTS...need only point out the information about top health insurers being multi-million dollar investors in (owners OF) top cigarette manufacturers. If activists demanded that insurers be absolutely clean of health DAMAGING insurance business and investment, there may likely BE no insurance industry to block a Single Payer system. If health insurers insure and invest in OTHER health damaging industries...bombs, nukes, pesticides, oil, chlorine, toxic waste, etc...all the better to know.
ANTI-WAR ACTIVISTS...hey....that's Big Oil, not only in Iraq and Afghanistan but in tobacco pesticides. We don't see Exxon/Mobil or Shell logos on cigarette packs, or warnings that say "WARNING: Contains Dioxin-Delivering Petroleum Residues!" but...we should.
MEDIA CRITICS...might note that more lies, distortions, and omissions show up in "smoking" articles and columns than in probably ANY other topic area. If reporters even absurdly refer to "tobacco manufacturers" (God? Mother Nature?), no critics say anything. If media talk about "chemicals in cigarettes", media critics don't ask if that means ADDED non-tobacco substances, or the natural chemicals that might be in any plant.
ORGANICS ACTIVISTS..., a branch of environmentalism, of course, fail to embarrass or indict the NON-ORGANICS industries for their part in cigs.
CIVIL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS...lose a chance to protect and defend the Constitutional right to DUE PROCESS, for one, in that judges and jurors in "smoking" cases are not asked to recuse themselves if they have economic links to the broad cigarette cartel (incl. Insurers, Pharms, etc.) or if they have religious bias against "smoking".
NATIVE AMERICANS...are having a traditionally-used plant taken from them by increasingly restrictive laws. Tobacco has been used for about 10,000 years for religious, medical (yes), cultural, agricultural and economic purposes. Unless actions are taken, the tobacco plant may end up as a
"controlled substance", for exclusive use by pharmaceuticals who crave the public-domain nicotine more than the heaviest smoker.
LABOR ACTIVISTS...havn't yet noted that many diseases that are linked to toxic/carcinogenic substances in the workplace are being described as "smoking related" if a worker also happens to smoke. This is widespread. It's theft of evidence of work safety violations by management, and it's an evasion of compensation responsibilities. The word "smoking" has no place in science or medicine UNLESS it's clear WHAT is being smoked. If it's just tobacco, that's one thing; if it's a virtual mini-toxic waste incinerator, as most cigarettes are, that is QUITE another.
ANTI-DRUG WAR ACTIVISTS...lose big time. The same industries that created, and still promote, the prohibition of cannabis (marijuana & hemp) are the ones here attempting to evade liabilities and prosecution.
Hemp was outlawed, largely, because it presented a big competitive threat to chlorine/petrochemical products... fabrics, building materials, plastics, fuels, lubricants etc...AND it threatened pesticides because hemp doesn't NEED pesticides.
So here, with the "smoking" deal, we have the old "Reefer madness" cartel creating Tobacco Madness....with the same corrupted "science" used to outlaw cannabis.
One reason, besides massive global media propaganda, that this "smoking" crusade is so successful is that, cleverly, it taps into our extensive hatred of the Corporatocracy, the industries that have robbed and poisoned us for so long. We have been convinced that we are "beating up" on a big bad corporation, so-called (SELF-called) "Big Tobacco".
We are not. We are beating up ourselves

Jump To Comment: 1 2As a smoker, NY resident and former CA resident, I can honestly tell you guys back home there's not too much to worry about... The smoking ban is no big shakes. Here in NY there are plenty... I mean, PLENTY... of bars where you can still smoke. Restaurants, on the other hand, no, and I can agree with that... I don't like smoke around my food either... it's unhygenic.
So far as "BIG TOBACCO" I believe the above article has completely missed the point, in that the industry has changed with the paradigm, seeing the huge profit instead in "stop smoking tools" and without the liability. For many of these companies, and their investors, sales of patches, gum, pills, etc. have surpassed regular and highly taxed cigarette sales. (Here in the US a pack of smokes is about $5 and a pack of Nicorette Gum about $50!). Indeed, it'll only be a matter of time before such patches and gums are exposed as equally addictive and being abused similarly to certain perscription drugs.
* Cig industry isn't so much capitalizing on the smoke bans by getting into "Nicorette", etc. Above all, the industry is ESCAPING what would be the biggest corporate liability since asbestos...if not far greater.
Do the simple math: How many victims?...how much is acceptable penatly Per Victim?...how many years to go back? If one just calculates the DEAD in the U.S. alone for only 40 years...well, you better have room for a lot of zeros on your calculator. It's SO much cheaper for the industry to blame the PLANT, the victims, and the bar/pub proprietors. They may be mass-murderers but they aren't stupid.
Please note the ABSENCE of bans on putting secret, untested, addiction-enhancing, fire starting, often toxic and cancer causing non-tobacco things into cigarettes. Ah...but the secretly poisoned, betrayed (by public regulators), and deceived victims are banned from USING these Dioxin Dowels in certain places! This is entirely backwards. Justice is stood on her head.
AND...these victims are "banned" from getting the info, the compensation and the damage penalties FROM the industry.
* The "Nicorette" etc manufacturers may be the very pharms that made and still make tobacco pesticides AND non-tobacco cig ingredients. So, in a way, it's correct to say they are "Big Tobacco"...remembering that tobacco is NOT a required ingredient in US Cigarettes. Don't know about Ireland or the EU.
* These pharms are HUGE users of chlorine...the only source of dioxin..chlorine being an adulterant of typical cigarettes...dioxin being a Persistent Organic Pollutant contaminant of typical cigarette smoke. So...pharms do NOT want their precious chlorine indicted. Again...better to blame tobacco plants, victims and etc. instead...EVEN if the "smoking" diseases are identical to symptoms of dioxin exposure.
* Tobacco isn't being attacked for our health...it's being scapegoated for the "health" of the profits of involved industries. And it's not just to push this unpatentable, public domain, natural plant out so that the Nicorettes can move in...it's ALSO about other medical characteristics of tobacco/nicotine. Yep...true.
Tobacco is an appetite suppressant...that competes with all sorts of diet pills. It's a digestive reliever that competes with shelves full of Tums and Alka Seltzers and so forth. It's used for alertness...competing with a host of "pick-me-uppers". It's Stress Reliever that competes with the enormous tranquilizer/Prozac etc industry. And it's a symptomatic reliever for Parkinson's, Alzheimer's and other mental pathologies...noting the ageing Baby Boomer market for such things. This "smoke ban" crusade is not accidentally timed.
Why share the wealth with tobacco farmers? If "evil" tobacco becomes a Controlled Substance, like cannabis, there will be no option BUT the expensive, barely tested, patented, purely corporate synthetics. In that this ban is about the PUBLIC Government working for and with PRIVATE corporate entities, with help of cops to enforce...we have nothing short of fascism. Mussolini himself prefered it be called
"Corporatism"...the merger of private corporations with public government. He should know.
Don't we see this corporate theft of natural plants EVERYWHERE? It happened with cannabis...it's happening with patented GM crops...and it's ALL for the benefit of the same damn industrial cartel.
As for bars/pubs ignoring the law...hey... that's fine. It just means that at any time, at a cop's whim, or a politician's whim, the place can be shut down. THOSE proprietors will not likely open their mouths about other political things lest they lose their businesses for "violating the law". Maybe they just better fork over more money to the right official's campaign funds too.
Who believes it is legitimate for pub/bar owners to be burdened with laws aimed at solving a health problem that they did not cause? THEY didn't put any dangerous stuff into cigs.
If THEY secretly put dioxins, formaldehyde, adhesives, shellac, turpentine, fake flavors, etc (all on cig ingredients' lists) into your beer, THEY'D be arrested. Ought cig makers be treated any differently?
