The Boycott Topoil campaign is a campaign launched inside the Irish Antiwar movement to promote a consumer boycott Tedcastle Oil Product (TOP) the company which refuels the US military in Shannon airport.

FIRST ACTIONS PLANNED FOR AMIENS STREET DUBLIN 2
***********************************************
We are starting the campaign in August on the 9th and 16th .
We will be concentrating on the Topoil garage at Amiens Street Dublin. This action will be done by the Fairview Branch of the IAWM
This is our first action. We hope to get other campaign s up and running in September.
We plan to place a picket placed on the service station.
Place a large banner on the bridge just down the road
Leaflet the cars going into the service station and stuck at the traffic

We have gathered lots of information relevant to the campaign.
Kelly Fuels in the six counties are a wholly owned subsidiary of Topoil and will be targeted along with them. Top are the Sole agents for Silkolene and Q8 brand of oils
If you have any information on these companies their locations, customers etc give us a shout. We would specially like to hear from people who work in the oil business who could be of assistance to us. Does your workplace, club school or college use TOP??

Promoting the campaign

We are busy designing leaflets banners and other promotional material for the campaign. Are you an artist, graphic designer or writer ? Can you help ? If so give us a shout

The Working Group
***********************************************
The working group has been meeting on a regular basis in the city centre in Dublin for the past 2 months. Why not get involved. If you live outside Dublin it’s not a problem as we have an Internet based forum and chat room to distribute minutes, files etc. Why not set up a campaign group in your area or town?

Our Survey
***********************************************
In order to be able to target the campaign properly we need information on who buys TOP products and where. We have a survey prepared and our looking for volunteers throughout the island to carry it out. It’s very simple and needs to be done on a high street and door to door basis. If you or your local group can be of assistance please contact us. The survey materials are currently under development and we'll send them out when they're ready.
