we need as many people as possible to buy white overalls, gasmasks, goggles, smoke bombs, Homer Simpson facemasks, Mr Montgomery Burns facemasks coloured smoke flares, magnesium and bring sirens, hooters and pre recorded tapes of air raid sirens to put in portable ghetto blasters. PLUS new ideas you might have.

Plans for the demonstration in Dublin against
Sellafield are well on the way.
Lots of work on banners and costumes started last
Friday in NCAD and Globalise Resistance activists are
planning to meet again on this coming
Friday to finalise details. We have built a
Sellafield reactor core for the meltdown drill, and
are asking anyone who knows anything about flares,
coloured smoke, theatrical primal screaming, the
uniforms of the Ministry of Disasters and the Civil
Offence, gasmasks, sound systems, fake newspaper
headlines and articles a la Orson Welles for the day,
nuclear body shadows, horror make up, blood capsules,
burned clothes, mutations ETC ETC ETC to help bring
materials, paints, props ETC ETC up to the

National College Art and Design,

What happens when Sellafield melts down, Minister
Jacob?
Prop making, costume making, theatrical rehearsal in NCAD- Meltdown,
evacuation drill and Die IN
in front of minister's office- 3pm March 9th

Globalise Resistance in Dublin has brought together lots of people and ideas to build the
anti-globalisation movement in Ireland.A big issue in Ireland is the
threat that the Sellafield
Nuclear power plant poses for people and the environment here.

Our plan is to run a "nuclear meltdown drill".
We will assemble at 3pm at the Central Bank where
speakers will explain the threat of Sellafield and
then at a co-ordinated moment "nuclear wardens" in
overalls and masks will come into the crowd with
sirens and horns in a trial-run nuclear meltdown
scenario – everyone will have half an hour to escape!

We will be building a Sellafield reactor core for the meltdown drill,

Everyone on the demo will be given emergency plans
which will tell you what to do in the event of a
nuclear fall out from Sellafield:
Get to the Fianna Fail headquarters within half an
hour and protest (or after half an hour has passed,have a die in…?)
Wardens will get everyone running to mount streetraising the alarm on
the way.
Lots of other details to be worked out but that's theidea…

We will challenge Joe Jacob (Irish minister for disasters) through the
media
beforehand to be there at the drill with his alternative emergency
plan!
Also, we plan to put outlines of dead bodies all over the streets of
Dublin the night before the
protest to show the scale of the carnage that would happen.
We have decided to have the demo on March 9th
