The Truth About Britain?s Wildfires Thu Aug 21, 2025 15:00 | Paul Homewood

Jump To Comment: 5 4 3 2 1You got to move out of the nostalgia ("a mild form of depression" abbie hoffman, and he should know) of yesterday and the anticipation of the 'morrow and be here now baby, TODAY. Mary Kelly is on trial today and kicking ass! A shot of existentialism wouldn't go astray, dude.
Please send my kindest wishes to Mary Kelly if you see her over the next few days! I've been telling others at the volunteer camp here in central Turkey about it, and they all support her (International group, including UKs and USs too).
This is Mary's trial, sure, but she's putting the war on trial.
Celebrate hope! Resist War! Don't sit on the fence (cut it)! ;-)
If we don't show solidarity with yesterdays protesters, fewer people will have the guts to be tomorrows protesters. I consider the 60 plus people who were arrested over the course of the anti-war protests to have been arrested on my behalf and on behalf of all those who supported their actions. They are taking the rap when it could have been any of us who was picked off on a given day. Put yourself in their position; it's extremely unpleasant to be forced to stand before the court on numerous dates not of your chosing with the prospect of hefty fines, being banned from County Clare for two years or being imprisoned for several years in the cases of some of the defendants. Show a bit of support if you agree with their actions.
what is the point in holding these vigils?... she is yesterday's protestor... we should be worrying about the issues of tomorrow...
Dublin Catholic Worker Comuunity will be holding a daily solidarity vigil outside the GPO, City Centre each day of Mary Kelly's trial. 9 a.m. - 10a.m. All welcome.
