Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.
AI Reach: Gemini Reasoning Question of God Sat Aug 02, 2025 20:00 | Mind Agent
Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.
Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza
Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support
With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza
China?s CITY WIDE CASH SEIZURES Begin ? ATMs Frozen, Digital Yuan FORCED Overnight Wed Jul 30, 2025 21:40 | 1 of indy
This story is unverified but it is very instructive of what will happen when cash is removed
THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty
A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

British TV Comedy Has Lost its Class Sat Nov 22, 2025 17:00 | Finlay McLaren
The BBC's Director of Comedy wants to "save the sitcom". But the sitcom is only endangered because most of them stopped being funny. As To the Manor Born reminds us, British comedy has lost its class, says Finlay McLaren.

Thank Lockdowns for the Worst Budget in History Sat Nov 22, 2025 13:00 | Will Jones
We're a week away from the most painful Budget in history thanks largely to the eye-watering cost of lockdown. Yet Baroness Hallett says next time the Government must be ready to go harder and faster. This is insanity.

It's bad enough that all UK TV users are forced to fund the BBC via a TV licence. But it's worse than that, says Charlotte Gill: millions of pounds of taxpayers' money are handed to the corporation via backdoor channels.

A good day for the movement. Well done to all involved. Today showed that school students are willing to protest against this unjust war for oil. On the first day of war YAW will organise a mass walkout or other form of protest of school students.
YAW now is effectively the most organised group of young people within the Irish Anti war movement, having established bases around the country (south of the border at least)
The walkouts organised by Youth Against War have been much bigger in the North, with thousands out in Newry and Omagh.
This is a brilliant step - now it's time to build for strikes on Day X.
Takes the biscui even by SP standaeds. Threy know SSAW were responsible for most of this.
It was reported in the main press up there that many of the SSAW members were threatened with expulsion over this strike action and were actively supporting and involved in it so it seems strange that they had nothing to do with this in Northern Ireland, I suppose as had the SWP nothing at all to do with the Belfast 15th rally. Anyway well done to 'ALL' involved
Look guys these silly fights about who 'owns' the anti-war movements are pointless - in fact worse they are damaging. Huge number have marched for whom the various party initals mean nothing, trying to insist they 'belong' to one organisation or another is simply going to make them feel manipulated (and not march the next time). If anything those conducting the walkouts need to make sure they have control of their own organisations rather then hand it either to anyone else!
The walk outs are great. [full stop]
It seems the Belfast rally was lead mainly by the ssaw from methody, grovenor high, st louises st genivies and other schools while the newry one was mainly lead by the yaw but does it really matter
None of the reports from Youth Against the War claim that they were the only people building the Belfast walkouts and I would be surprised if Schools Students Against War weren't involved in building for walkouts in the one place they actually exist.
The strikes around the rest of the coutry were only really built by YAW for the simple reason that there is no SSAW to be involved. That goes for Omagh, Newry, Dublin and all the rest.
The point made above is important though: why squabble over this? This is a great step forward.
Just seen the Swords protest on the RTE news. Looked like a couple of hundred. RTE said two schools in Swords and other schools across the country including Cork and various places in the North.
Also coverage on BBC news of walkouts in England. Good stuff.
The truth is most of the organising of this was done neither by SAW or YAW. It was done by pissed of school students who took their own initiative and used the resources of both groups. For this both groups should be congratulated, but more so those unconnected individuals. Today there will have been rallies that we haven’t heard of and may never hear of.
I have been receiving reports from around the north, in one school a SAW activists organised a teach-in of 150 and at another school a rally of 250 was held, I have also heard unconfirmed reports that schools in west Belfast marched down to city hall for a rally. I’ve also heard that some schools were blocked, i.e. that of Abbey (I think that’s what it is called) down in Newry and also of teachers locking students in school in one or two schools in Belfast.
The SAW is now organising for a massive walkout across the north on Day X. As before school students are more than welcome to download any resources and print them of to use in their schools.
We are also saying to schools to get in touch with us and help us help them. If you know any school students in the north or the south or anywhere tell them about our web page and say its open to all, mainly because it is.

=WELL DONE ·EVERYONE· WHO TOOK PART IN GLOBAL STUDENT STRIKE AGAINST WAR!
A brilliant initiative, but on "day X" the day the war starts, a national/European walk out day will be too late.
What's needed is one now, or at least within the next 2/3 weeks.
Anyone know if there is any chance of this happening?
DAY X.
School students against the war with teachers and education workers and lectures are organising and co-ordinating to walk out from the Education sector. They will do so though with other workplaces and local anti war groups along with various other political parties, campaign groups, womens groups, minority groups solidarity campaigns and others around the north many for mass non voilent direct action.
