offsite link Deliberate Design Flaw In ChatGPT-5 Sun Aug 17, 2025 08:04 | Mind Agent
Socratic Dialog Between ChatGPT-5 and Mind Agent Reveals Fatal and Deliberate 'Design by Construction' Flaw
This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!

This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".

According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.

People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Evaluating Semantic Reasoning Capability of AI Chatbot on Ontologically Deep Abstract (bias neutral) Thought
I have been evaluating AI Chatbot agents for their epistemic limits over the past two months, and have tested all major AI Agents, ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, for their epistemic limits and their negative impact as information gate-keepers.... Today I decided to test for how AI could be the boon for humanity in other positive areas, such as in completely abstract realms, such as metaphysical thought. Meaning, I wanted to test the LLMs for Positives beyond what most researchers benchmark these for, or have expressed in the approx. 2500 Turing tests in Humanity?s Last Exam.. And I chose as my first candidate, Google DeepMind's Gemini as I had not evaluated it before on anything.

offsite link Israeli Human Rights Group B'Tselem finally Admits It is Genocide releasing Our Genocide report Fri Aug 01, 2025 23:54 | 1 of indy
We have all known it for over 2 years that it is a genocide in Gaza
Israeli human rights group B'Tselem has finally admitted what everyone else outside Israel has known for two years is that the Israeli state is carrying out a genocide in Gaza

Western governments like the USA are complicit in it as they have been supplying the huge bombs and missiles used by Israel and dropped on innocent civilians in Gaza. One phone call from the USA regime could have ended it at any point. However many other countries are complicity with their tacit approval and neighboring Arab countries have been pretty spinless too in their support

With the release of this report titled: Our Genocide -there is a good chance this will make it okay for more people within Israel itself to speak out and do something about it despite the fact that many there are actually in support of the Gaza

THIS STORY IS UNVERIFIED BUT PLEASE WATCH THE VIDEO OR READ THE TRANSCRIPT AS IT GIVES AN VERY GOOD IDEA OF WHAT A CASHLESS SOCIETY WILL LOOK LIKE. And it ain't pretty

A single video report has come out of China claiming China's biggest cities are now cashless, not by choice, but by force. The report goes on to claim ATMs have gone dark, vaults are being emptied. And overnight (July 20 into 21), the digital yuan is the only currency allowed.

Progressive American Anti-War Presidential Candidate?

Ohio Democract May Try to Dethrone King Bush II

Dennis Kucinich (D-OH)is a Democrat opposed to war and "free" trade who refuses to put corporations and profits over people and he is not afraid to stand up for the common folk!

When the WTO brought its meeting to American shores, he marched with the people in the streets of Seattle. When Corporate Crooks bankrupted LTV Steel and hundreds of workers lost their jobs, he marched with the people in the streets of Cleveland. When Bush and the rest of the hawks declared a global war, he once again marched with the people. As crazy as it sounds, the man who once caught his hair on fire as Mayor of Cleveland, Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), quite possibly offers the best hope for the Democratic Party and the American Left to dethrone King George.

As Democrat presidential candidates throw their hats into the ring, many Americans wonder where the choice is. Only one possible candidate, Senator Bob Graham (D-FL) thus far actually voted against the resolution on war in Iraq. As conservative columnist, George Will noted, Graham voted it down because he did not feel it was strong enough. There is not a single Democratic presidential candidate in Congress that is against war in Iraq.

Representative Kucinich led the Congressional push against the Iraq resolution. He boldly held a symposium against war in Iraq that included former UN Chief Weapons Inspector Scott Ritter. At the symposium, Ritter claimed the US gov’t “sabotaged” inspections in 1998 and the current push for war is motivated by “domestic politics”. This past week, Kucinich spoke at an anti-war rally in Cleveland. Kucinich’s anti-war stance is not his only position that has resonated with progressives.

When “free” trade and corporate corruption buried the LTV Steel Company, he rallied with workers on the streets of Cleveland. Teaming up with the United Steelworkers of America, he successfully lobbied George W. Bush to protect the domestic steel industry from unfair foreign competition. To Kucinich’s credit, many of the former LTV steelworkers are back at the job.

Kucinich also sees the big picture of corporate Globalization. He actually marched with protesters at the infamous WTO protests in Seattle. NAFTA is also a target for Kucinich. More than most cities, Cleveland has witnessed what Ross Perot called the great sucking sound, the sound of America losing jobs.

Somewhat of an internationalist, Kucinich denounced US involvement in the attempted coup in Venezuela in April 2002. (His letter to George Bush can be found at http://www.narconews.com ). He realizes the negative effect American foreign policy has third world democracy.

The media has not ignored Kucinich either. He received lots of media attention when he sued George W. Bush over the withdraw from the 1972 ABM Treaty. Kucinich and about 30 other members of Congress felt the Bush should have consulted Congress and therefore, the withdraw was un-Constitutional.

Back when he was “Boy Mayor” of Cleveland in the 1970’s, he fought the privatization of public utilities. This is a far cry from the Bush Administration who blocked the release of papers relating to the formation of the nation’s energy policy. Evidently, Cheney formulating energy policy with the crooks from Enron would be too damning. Kucinich has recently taken on the nuclear power industry and the Nuclear Regulating Commission over the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Plant fiasco. (Davis-Besse’s reactor had a hole in it that was leaking corrosive coolant, and the company knew about and the NRC did not figure this out for a whole two years. Check out http://www.cleveland.com/davisbesse for thorough coverage of this incident)

After 9-11, Kucinich electrified the progressive wing of American politics with his masterpiece of a speech, “A Prayer for Peace”. The supporters of Kucinich have been urging him to run for president. They even created an entire website, http://www.draftkucinich.com , for their cause. On Sunday, January 12, 2003, the Plain Dealer published a front-page article discussing a possible run for the presidency for Kucinich. The article discussed how former Green Party Presidential Candidate and consumer advocate, Ralph Nader, is urging Kucinich to run.

This presents an interesting scenario. Could the Democrats win over the Greens with Kucinich as a Candidate? The Democrats could win over the Greens if they do not nominate another cowardly Centrist Republicrat. With Bush’s approval rating falling, there is an opportunity for meaningful regime change. Kucinich will fight tooth and nail for what he believes in and would make a wonderful Democratic presidential candidate. His message is clear. Kucinich believes in an “America which stands not in pursuit of an axis of evil, but which is itself at the axis of hope and faith and peace and freedom.”

the same week as Ireland voted on the 133 amendment to NICE very important treaty sort of thing.
these are very difficult issues to understand or spell correctly so bear with me.
That result was:
Congress 133 against.
Senate 23 against.
call me weird
yes do
but i reckon there´s something in that.
but of course the real masters decided to discuss the Treaty in Nice in the first place.
Something about protest radical networks delaying the process before.
So the Irish electorate was asked to vote Yes to Nice.
Something some one suggested to me would be most contrary to the hiberno-english community.
sure that´s not nice.
call me weird.
yes do.
There shall be several candidates worth supporting in the next US election.
so don´t go running down to the bookmakers just yet.

Iraq and the Economy
U.S. Representative Dennis J. Kucinich

Swearing-In Ceremony

Sunday, January 5, 2003

Cleveland, Ohio

by US Rep Dennis Kucinich

My fellow Americans, in this ceremony we recognize the power of the people in a democracy to create self-government. For you have truly
lifted me, as a lowly servant, up from your midst to serve our nation. You have entrusted in me the duties of national service. You have asked me to stand as a sentinel to safeguard our rights. You have expected me to tell the truth, even if that truth shall disturb established economic, political and social structures. I accept your trust with humility and with resolve. I shall proceed in my duties each day with courage, with unshakeable faith and with love of you, my dear constituents, love of our country, love of freedom and love of our brothers and sisters worldwide.

For the America I envision seeks world unity instead of unilateralism. It gains its power through being the first to help, not the first to
strike. It extends itself to the peoples of the world to lift their burden. It is an America, which when asked for help, dispenses bread instead of bombs, medical assistance instead of missiles, and food instead of fissile
materials.

There is a role for America in the world. It is in working with the community of nations to achieve the security of all nations. It is in
restoring the promise of the Non Proliferation Treaty to lead the way to get rid of all nuclear weapons. It is in helping to assure international order. It is through strengthening and abiding by international treaties. It is in assuring control and eventual elimination of biological and chemical weapons, and landmines. It is in protecting our global climate by cooperating with the rest of the world in reducing carbon emissions.

America can help protect the world. America can help save the world. But America cannot control the world, nor should we want to do so.

Yet our Administration would project American power for the purpose of domination. Their National Security doctrines call for America to
strike anywhere it pleases and to be the first to use nuclear weapons.

Our nation is now poised to go to all-out war against Iraq. Iraq has not committed any act of aggression against the United States. Iraq was not
responsible for 911. No credible evidence exists linking Iraq to Al Queda's role in 911. Iraq was not responsible for the anthrax attack on our nation. The United Nations has yet to establish that Iraq has usable weapons of mass destruction. There is no intelligence that Iraq has the ability
to strike at the United States. According to the CIA, Iraq has no intention to attack America, but will defend itself if attacked.

Why then, is our nation prepared to send three hundred thousand of our young men and women into house to house combat in the streets of Baghdad and Basra? Why is our nation prepared to spend $200 billion or more of our hard-earned tax dollars for the destruction of Iraq?

Why is our nation preparing to use the most powerful military machine in history to wage an assault against the people of Iraq, to destroy
their houses and buildings, to wipe out their water and electric systems and to block their access to food and medical supplies?

There is no answer which can separate itself from oil economics, profit requirements of arms trade, or distorted notions of empire-building.

War with Iraq is wrong. But if war is prosecuted further in Iraq, we must be prepared to advance the cause of peace in this country. We must be prepared to stand up, to speak out, to organize, to march, to demand an end to the war, or to demand an end to an administration which insists on war.

It is urgent we oppose this war. It will dominate our nation's priorities. It will threaten Social Security. It will threaten Medicare. It will block a prescription drug benefit for the elderly. It will stop America from providing jobs for all, health care for all, education for all.

There are some who believe that it is unpatriotic to challenge the Administration on the war. They believe it is politically wiser to debate the economy. But how can one reasonably separate war from the budget, war from the economy, war from America's ability to meet the needs of the people
of this nation?

The Administration's own top economic adviser said the war could cost up to $200 billion. Our federal budget is already close to a $200 billion deficit due to huge tax cuts for the wealthy. Remember when we had a budget surplus?

Each time the administration talks about war, fear is created and when fear goes up, the market goes down. War will mean a sharp increase in
oil prices, which will hurt jobs in manufacturing and transportation. One economic study
with a worst-case scenario puts the cost of an all-out war, plus long-term occupation of Iraq at $1.6 trillion.

You cannot separate war from the economy. You cannot separate war from America's future, from its role in the world and its ability to meet the
needs of our own people here at home.

We need to ask the questions: Why does America have hundreds of billions to ruin the health and take the lives of innocent people in Iraq but
no money to provide health care for all Americans?

Why would America spend hundreds of billions to retire Saddam Hussein, but no money to protect the retirement security of its own people?

Why does America have money to blow up bridges over the Euphrates River in Iraq, but no money to build up bridges over the Cuyahoga River in
Cleveland?

The path America must take is one of peace which leads to, prosperity. It is one which understands that creating a structure of peace ensures that
economic structures can be sound, affirmative of human needs and restorative of human values.

This is the dream of a Department of Peace which can help America take the first step towards making nonviolence an organizing principle in
our society- - making the work of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. a reality - -and working
to make war itself a thing of the past. It is this ethic of peace seeking and peace building which will cause us to take down weapons from
the heavens and work to create a heaven on earth full of new possibilities.

Peace and prosperity shall be as two pillars in a newly rebuilt America which provides for the economic and social security of its own people as a cause of nationhood and for the economic and social progress of peoples of other lands as a cause of brotherhood.

This confirmation of the purpose of nation was the dream of Franklin Roosevelt and the New Deal, Lyndon Johnson and the Great Society, and John
F. Kennedy and the New Frontier. This shall continue to be our dream in the days ahead, that no matter the darkness, we shall hold up the
light of America's higher purpose, which calls to us across the ages from Washington. Jefferson and Adams through Lincoln to the present day.

Our nation has always had a higher calling, despite the darkness of 911 and the official response to it. It is a calling to maintain the
quest for democracy, for freedom and liberty at times of peril as well as in times of peace. We can sense that higher calling. That higher calling is our heritage. The words of Francis Scott Key still echo:

"Oh say does that Star Spangled Banner yet wave, o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?" In this he celebrated the link between freedom and bravery: That it takes courage to live in a democracy. It takes courage to stand up to terrorists and maintain basic liberties. It takes courage to lead the way toward global disarmament while some are bent on destruction.
It takes patience to face dictators around the world and not be tempted to bomb them into submission. It takes wisdom to have great power
and to make gentle its presence in the world.

And it takes compassion to understand the plight of peoples worldwide who themselves are trying to survive, to live out their own humble lives despite having conditions which are challenging or governments which are oppressive.

My friends. This is still your government. You have a right to have a say in how its destiny is being charted. That right derives from our very
Declaration of Independence, which claimed self-governance as a basic right. Government does not just happen in Washington, DC. It is the result of a process which takes place in thousands of cities, villages and townships. It
is also a process which also takes place in our hearts, which is brought to life by our love of country, and our love of each other. It is your love which enables me to carry those hopes and dreams forward. And I shall do so courageously in the days ahead. Thank you.
