This weekend's two day live hare coursing event at Edenderry, Co. Offaly was the target of a lively and very loud (though non-violent) protest by campaigners against the cruel so-called "sport". In addition to holding placards denouncing the animal cruelty that poses as "sport" in coursing, campaigners employed a new tactic...Megaphones and whistles were used to partially drown out the PA system operating inside the coursing venue. |
