This design flaw in ChatGPT-5's default epistemic mode subverts what the much touted ChatGPT-5 can do... so long as the flaw is not tickled, any usage should be fine---The epistemological question is: how would anyone in the public, includes you reading this (since no one is all knowing), in an unfamiliar domain know whether or not the flaw has been tickled when seeking information or understanding of a domain without prior knowledge of that domain???!
This analysis is a pretty unique and significant contribution to the space of empirical evaluation of LLMs that exist in AI public world... at least thus far, as far as I am aware! For what it's worth--as if anyone in the ChatGPT universe cares as they pile up on using the "PhD level scholar in your pocket".
According to GPT-5, and according to my tests, this flaw exists in all LLMs... What is revealing is the deduction GPT-5 made: Why ?design choice? starts looking like ?deliberate flaw?.
People are paying $200 a month to not just ChatGPT, but all major LLMs have similar Pro pricing! I bet they, like the normal user of free ChatGPT, stay in LLM's default mode where the flaw manifests itself. As it did in this evaluation.

Gipfelthema: Widerstand gegen Imperialismus
Montag den 17 Juni: Tag der Vorlesungen, Seminare und antiimperialistischen Diskussionen mit nationalen und internationalen Gastrednern. Nacht revolutionärer Tänze und Gesänge.
Dienstag den 18 Juni: Großdemonstration in Dubliner Stadtzentrum im Gedenken an den 1913 Dublin Lockout und im Protest gegen die Präsenz der weltweit gefährlichsten Kriegsverbrecher , die ihren G8-Gipfel auf irischem Boden halten.
Der Dubliner Ausschuss zum G8-Alternativgipfel fordert alle Fortschrittlichen, in Irland und rund um den Globus, am 17 und 18 Juni 2013 nach Dublin zu einem Gegengipfel zu kommen, um zu diskutieren, wie wir effektiver Widerstand gegen die von G8 verfolgte Völkermordpolitik leisten können. Der neue Wettlauf um Afrika hat begonnen. Säkulare arabische Staaten werden weggebombt und durch Diktaturen von Tausenden rassistischen und sektiererischen Banden ersetzt, die einfach für die Imperialisten zu kontrollieren sind. Wie im Jahre 1873, wenn das westliche Finanzsystem zusammenbrach, ist die einzige Antwort für die Westmächte die imperialistische Eroberung. Millionen von Menschenleben sind jetzt in schwerstem und unmittelbarem Gefahr. Africom setzt eine faktische Kontrolle über Afrika mit Waffengewalt durch, spielt eine afrikanische Nation gegen die andere aus und schafft Bürgerkriege, die das soziale Gefüge von Afrika zerfetzten wird.
Die Imperialisten sind auf einer globalen Basis organisiert. Innerhalb weniger Stunden kann die US jeden Punkt auf der Erde bombardieren. Ihre Britischen und Französischen Schoßhunde waren nicht langsam, an der Aktion teilzunehmen - hungrig nach einem Anteil in der kolonialen Beute. Länder wie Irland, die neutral zu sein vorgeben, haben ihr Gier und Neid gezeigt, indem sie in getarnter Weise an der Besatzung Afghanistans teilgenommen haben und bieten an, Truppen für die Rückeroberung Afrikas zu entsenden.
Wir Antiimperialisten müssen uns auch auf einer weltweiten Basis organisieren. Der Dubliner G8 Alternativgipfel bietet eine ideale Gelegenheit, in Schwung zu bringen, was bereits erreicht wurde, und ehrgeizige Pläne zu erarbeiten, um dem Imperialismus Einhalt zu gebieten. Als ein Land unter imperialistischer Besatzung und durch eine sektiererische und ethnische Teilung, die für jede imperialistische Eroberung wichtig sind, partitioniert, ist Irland ein sehr geeigneter Ort für eine solche Debatte.
Durch die Abhaltung des G8-Gipfels im besetzten Irland haben die imperialen Mächte allen Antiimperialisten weltweit den Kampf angesagt. Haben wir den Mut, den Kampf aufzunehmen? Die Imperialisten werden die Antwort darauf bald genug bekommen.
Um es noch schlimmer zu machen, haben die Imperialisten das hundertjährige Jubiläum des 1913 Dublin Lockouts gewählt, um Ihren Karneval der Reaktion in Irland abzuhalten. Der Dubliner G8 Alternativgipfel wird das Herzstück des Gedenkens an das edle Geschehnis sein, wo Zehntausende von Menschen aus der Arbeiterklasse Monatelang unter Hunger litten, statt vor der Macht der irischen Kompradorenklasse in die Knie zu gehen, die von William Martin Murphy geführt wurde, dem Besitzer der berüchtigten Zeitung Irish Independent (in der Tat einer Lügenzeitung.)
Hunderttausende marschierten auf den Straßen zur Unterstützung der Streikenden - trotzt der Polizeischläger, die die Straßen zu versperren versuchten.
Hoffentlich, hundert Jahre später, werden die Menschen in Dublin sich an die Mut aus dem Jahre 1913 erinnern und sich als genauso würdig wie diejenigen, die vor ihnen kamen, erweisen.
